Barry and team did a great job - we are really pleased with the end result and the price.

Newly bought home. Long-standing issue with flat roof leak around chimney due to previously poor quality work on an extension. Barry responded promptly and came out the next day to assess the issue. He explained the problem and took photos. He then offered two repair options: one cheaper just attempting to repair the obvious damage around the chimney and the other one more costly but replacing the whole central gulley and redoing the lead around the chimney. He recommended GRP fibreglass for the whole gulley. He started work relatively soon once the weather has improved. He and his work partner have finished in a matter of days. They were polite and considerate. They kept us up to date with what is being done. We are now 1 month into the repair and so far the leak and the resulting damp patch haven't reappeared. No other new issues arose. Final cost was as agreed at the start and Barry took all the rubbish away. Barry offered 2 year warranty on his job and GRP fibreglass comes with a much longer warranty. Barry was responsive to texts/emails. I would recommend Barry as a roof repair contractor and would use his services again if new issues arose with our roof. Initially we were reluctant due to lack of reviews for Barry on mybuilder, but we are glad we decided to go with him.
