Alex has just completed a garden decking stairs and seating area project for me and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. Alex is very professional, punctual, informative and hard working. He suggested ways to improve on the ideas that I had which resulted in a better final outcome. He works fast and delivers great quality workmanship. Despite it raining heavily for most of the 2 days, Alex still went ahead as agreed and finished the job on time. On completion, he left the site cleaner and tidier than it was originally! I would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends and family.

Within a day or two of posting the job on to the website, we received about eight quotes. After looking at Alex's profile and seeing the pictures of some of his work, we asked Alex to visit our house to provide us with a more detailed quote. Alex's quote wasn't the cheapest, nor was it the most expensive. We chose Alex because his previous work looked of the highest quality and we felt confident that he would be able to build what we were looking for. Alex completed the job within one and a half days and we could not be happier with the finished job. The quality of the finish is second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend Alex and if i need any further jobs doing i would definitely ask Alex to do them.

Job: Removed existing supporting wall (12") and replaced with RSJ. Alex initially came out and gave us a very competitive quote, we then checked out a similar piece of work he had previously carried out. Alex made sure that the job ran to schedule and budget. He also made significant efforts to ensure that the site was clean as it could be at the end of each day. All in all he gave us a good price and came across as very professional and we would definately recommend.

I have no hesitation in using Alex Harrington again and would recommend him to friends and family. His work was of a high standard, he arrived on time, he is very considerate, he listens to your needs, nothing is too much trouble and he cleans up afterwards!. I have complete trust in Alex, he's a nice guy to have around and will be asking him back to do more work.

I own a couple of houses in the area and I was refurbishing my first house and Alex did all the carpentry work for me - his work was done to a really, really good standard, he was on time and pleasant to have around. After that I bought another house and I hired Alex for a much, much bigger job which turned out to be a 100K contract. The works included guttering, large extension at the back, all new plumbing and underfloor heating and Alex has done a really, really good job. Me and my wife are still living in this house today and we are extremely pleased. I work for a well-known estate agent and I am fairly well-placed to recommend services such as Alex's and I've recommended him to a lot of my high end clients in the Chelsea/Knightsbridge area which I wouldn't do if I wasn't totally confident that he would do a good job. Alex is a really good guy.
