Bertie is a great joiner with top quality tools. Also a really friendly guy. He fitted my worktop perfectly, despite the unevenness of the room.

Bertie did a very nice job on my IKEA kitchen. The fine installation gives the effect of a kitchen that looks much more than it’s humble IKEA origin. He was reliable and trustworthy throughout the process. His strength is in the carpentry details, but he also has a good sense of design.

Great communication throughout the job. Quick response and turnaround of quote/work. Bertie replaced my worktop, installed a new Hob, sink and tap. I’m very pleased with the finished result. It looks great. Can’t fault anything. Very pleased.

I can’t recommend Bertie highly enough. He gave a competitive quote, turned up when he said he would and tided up at the end of the day. More importantly the work he does is exceptional. He is meticulous and careful. He takes great pride in his work and you can see this in the end product. I would gladly have him back for further projects.

Bert is most obliging, punctual and meticulous. He created and cut a beautiful curve on a kitchen worktop for the staggered units in my miniscule galley kitchen and made a great job of modifying and installing cabinets to a high standard. He is also an effortless troubleshooter. His charges were very reasonable.

We have been extremely impressed with the job Bertie did for us. We originally hired him to fit our kitchen and utility units, but also asked him to lay our laminate flooring. Both aspects were completed to a very high standard with excellent attention to detail. He is conscientious, considerate and very good at communicating. Bertie was aware of the time frame we were working to and went over and above to make sure that we could be back in our house for Christmas. This was very much appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire Bertie again or recommend his services to others. Thank you.
