Ashley arrived at the agreed time with his assistant and worked methodically to identify and fix the problem. It was unfortunate that another person on a different job arrived at the same time but AJS worked around this difficulty and succeeded in rectifying the problem. The charge was quite high but allowing that 2 people were at the property for 1.5 hours I didn't think it was unreasonable. I remain slightly concerned that Ashley admitted that although he seems to have rectified the fault he can't be entirely sure where in the wiring it was and so we can't be totally confident it may not recur. I was, however, very grateful for his honesty in explaining this.
