Arrived promptly, made sure he covered / protected the floor before he started work, and quickly overcame a problem that I had not envisaged. When he finished he then asked for LESS money than he had quoted as he said the job didn't take him that long! Needless to say I paid him his full quote. Review left on 4 Jun 2020Rating: 1 out of 5Bathroom made good(Updated on 5 Jun 2020)Stuart was polite and I was happy with his quote but his work is sub-standard. Was hired predominantly to re-silicon around my bath and stop a leak under the shower screen but after he’d finished the leak was worse than before he came and adding additional leaks around the back of the bath, where it wasn’t previously. Stuart then didn’t answer my calls or texts for four days when I finally received a text from someone claiming to be his wife, saying he’d been in a car accident. They went on to say he wouldn’t be completing anymore works through mybuilder and his profile would be deleted. However, at the time of writing Stuart has completed three subsequent jobs since my job in April 2020... The person I was conversing with by text also refused to refund monies paid to Stuart and to top it off I had to call out a plumber at further costs to myself to correct Stuart’s work. Pay cheap, pay twice...Answer from tradesperson:
The customer asked to make a bathroom better ! After someone ripped him off and left it in a mess ! The customer was very happy when I finished and was told not to use shower or bath for 24 hours ! I left at 4pm got a text at 8pm to say it was leaking ! Even know was told not to use the shower or bath and to let the silicone dry ! I was they involved in a accident and took time off to recover, he wanted a refund because he didn’t listen to clear instructions , guess there’s no helping some people as never had any complaints from anyone else.
