Advanced Brickworks gave me the best quote for rebuilding my garden wall and did a great job. I am very happy with the result. The work involved the following: • removal of 4 heavy capping stones from the top of the wall • taking the existing wall down • digging around tree roots to make room for the new wall • installing a lintel to secure the wall around the tree • rebuilding the wall • reinstalling the capping stones • ordering all materials and booking a skip. Anthony told me exactly when they were going to arrive on the job, and when they had to skip a day due to bad weather. I was never worried about progress, and found Anthony and his mate to be reliable and hard working. Anthony also ensured that the skip was collected promptly after the job was complete. I would definitely hire Advanced Brickworks again.

Avoid this company! We used them to build a wall fence and supply and install a composite gate for my 80 year old mum’s bungalow. Things started ok with the wall being built on time. However after we paid an initial deposit of £1250, Callum Foster then asked for further payment of £400. This was arranged so he could order the gate and fence panel. Having not heard from him again for weeks we chased him to be told the price for the gate had gone up, so we’d have to pay extra £400 if we still wanted the same gate. After deliberating, we agreed as my mum still needed a good quality gate. Further weeks went by and after more chasing he admitted he hadn’t actually ordered it and asked couldn’t we sort it ourselves, offering to fit it for a further £200?? By now my mum had spent weeks feeling vulnerable as the back of her property wasn’t secure, having lost faith in him we said we would get someone else to sort it. At this point we had paid him the total amount he quoted for the wall and he still had a further £200 which was supposed to enable him to order the gate. He has refused to repay this £200 to my mum saying he was owed for trying to source a gate and because we had turned down his offer of installing a gate we sourced ourselves?? He appears to have a complete disregard for customers and left an elderly lady in the lurch as darker nights drew in towards Christmas. He should be ashamed. My mum now has no choice but to reclaim the £200 through the courts.

Employed Callum and his crew to take down my old garden wall and replace with new, also to take up and replace my block paved drive. After they had taken up my old block paving I was told that the quote agreed to replace like for like did not include new edging stones so a further £600 pound was added to the cost. I am very disappointed with the standard of workmanship on both projects it appeared to me that none of them had ever used a spirit level and after I pointed out these concerns and after they attempted to rectify these concerns the block paving is still unlevel and uneven and therefore after any rainfall I am left with large puddles on my drive which then leaves black spots after the water has eventually drained. Because of the standard of work I could not recommend this crew to anybody I know.

Lovely work from Advanced Brickwork .Callum and Jack were clean and tidy workers ,polite and friendly. Always willing to listen to any concerns and look at alternatives in their build. Many passers by have stopped to take their contact details. Highly recommend Advanced brickwork .Thanks guys Highly recommended. Callum has totally transformed our driveway after building 2 walls complete with brick pillars & buff caps. He was polite, hardworking, patient, knowledgeable and kept me in the loop at all times. He shopped far & wide to get the bricks for the new walls to match up with brickwork shading on the house already. Deciding on the buff pillar caps I was confident Callum would make the right choice to finish the project with perfection..mission accomplished!!!! Cleaned & tidied up after each day of working. Would very highly recommend Callum & his team 100%
