Dale was really clear when he came round to look at the job and give me a quote. He replaced my boiler and put in a new walk-in shower and floor in my bathroom. It wasn't totally straightforward, but Dale stayed in close touch with me throughout and always explained how he would get around problems. Everything was delivered within the original quote and to a good standard. He was clean and tidy and did a few extra bits and bobs for me. I was a bit apprehensive about letting Dale into my home as I was away just as he planned to start the job, but I needn't have worried. He's very trustworthy. He also put me in touch with a previous customer who reassured me and I would be pleased to do the same for someone else. All in all a good guy and a talented plumber.

Within 24hrs of posting our tiling job Terry came to view the site, respecting social distancing, and provided a competitive quote for the work. He was very reliable, on time every day and incredibly clean and tidy with his work whilst in our home. Terry made minor adjustments to our plumbing and fully fitted the bathroom once tiled, as well as adding all finishing touches. The bathroom is exactly how we hoped it would look, we couldn't be happier with it. Terry offered lots of advice and was more than happy to accommodate all of our requests. I would not recommend. Sev and team did a good job, very quick, redid the gas central heating and installed the boiler in 3 days. My issue is with Sev’s customer service. He gave me price based on one specific boiler - when I challenged why this boiler instead of others and what makes one boiler better than another he dismissed me saying that the boiler he is installing will do for me and if I need another I can source it and he will knock £500 off the price - no advice, no guidance. Same thing when I asked for the flow rate and pressure because a prospective bathroom fitter wanted it to be able to advice on a suitable shower - he didn’t bother recording it and said that my bathroom fitter should stay focussed on the tiling he had to do! Post job job the kitchen fitter noticed that the pipe Sev had cut to set up for the sink was in bad condition causing a leak. The pipes were almost certainly in bad condition before Sev touched them however he would have saw that they were in bad condition yet he didn’t tell me. When I asked why he was rude saying they were my pipes, it’s not his responsibility to notify me if he sees that they are bad. The thing is he is right. However, one thing that I learnt from my renovation is that most builders will do a good job, few builders are capable of providing good pre and post job service which, in my view, is more important.
