Hired Nathan to fit a shower and tile around it replace bath, toilet and sink. As soon as the shower was fitted and was told it was ok to use there was a leak underneath the bathtub which he was made aware of and supposedly fixed. After the job was finished we noticed water had started dripping through our living room ceiling downstairs, the toilet was also leaking and there is smell coming from it, it also wobbles as you sit down or gently touch it. He has been on more than 3 occasions to fix these issues but nothing has changed. We still cant use the shower/bath as it leaks onto the floorboard, the toilet leaks and wobbles. We initially agreed on the phone that we would get a quote from someone else to fix the issues which he would pay for but he is now going back on his word offering £100 for resealing with silicone ( Which he has done on all the occasions he has come to fix the leak and it hasn't helped) The bath is covered in silicone including around the shower screen which is very messy and still leaks. we have managed to get other quotes (which are more than £100) and have been informed nothing has been installed properly we were shown how the toilet/shower and bath are not properly attached to the wall. The surprising thing is Nathan didn't seem to know what was causing the leaks in the first place which make me doubt he is a plumber. We have been left with a toilet we cant use and a wet ceiling that we now need to have fixed. Surely this is not right?

Avoid this guy at all costs. Claims to have 30yrs experience behind him in the construction industry. This is not the case. He has no experience whatsoever. A DIY handyman would know more. Claims to have a a team of professional tradesmen, this again is untrue. He gets them through Gumtree and Mybuilder when required. Non of the tradesmen who he got for our project had ever worked for him before. They had no loyalties to him or ourselves. He was caught out telling lies to us and the tradesmen he employed. He actually told one of the tradesmen to tell us lies but that particular guy told us the truth and was honest. Unless you want a professional liar stay clear. Choose your tradesmen wisely.We were unfortunate!!

Do NOT use this contractor. I’ve paid him upfront for job when he promised to return to complete it. Despite promising to turn up, he now ignores my calls and text messages. I’ve called, texted and WhatsApp him many times. It’s contractors like this that give all others a bad name. If he does decide to come round to finish the job I will update this post accordingly with more positive feedback. Until then do not waste your time and money going with this contractor - your strongly advised to choose another. Do not be fooled like I have been.

Slapdash- lots of sealant left on tiles and toilet pedestal- chipboard and ply flooring not level so toilet levelled up with silicone- all cut edges of tiles chipped- new waste pipes to outside not sealed or cemented in- shower tray chipped and repaired by them. Have since paid another plumber to refit and seal bath waste ; have had front wall which was used as workbench repaired - still got tile cement on drive and up garage wall. Am now waiting for a plumber to remove and refit shower which has been leaking since fitted in July so as yet have been unable to have vinyl flooring laid. The work was not done by Scott but by his employee and 17 year old unqualified brother.

The guy came and gave me a quote. I went ahead with the job. On the day of installation, he came around and said that due to personal emergency he has to leave and will come back next day. Its been 3 weeks and he has not responded to any call/ text message and mybuilder messages at all.
