I initially received a reasonable quote from SWJ Plumbing and we agreed on a specific date and time to complete the work. Unfortunately, on the scheduled day, the plan was changed at the last minute by him. Despite several follow-ups and excuses over the next three days, the work was never completed. This caused significant delays to my own schedule and forced me to postpone other commitments. Ultimately, I had to repost the job and look for a more reliable professional. Disappointed with the lack of follow-through and reliability.

We had Jordan come and redo our bathroom, it was a tricky shape but he came up with some great ideas and colours for tiles. Looked awesome. We asked him to comeback and refit a cloakroom. Well priced, good quality work and good communication. We’re now moving house and will be contacting him to do some work on our new house. Would strongly recommend.

Not only does he know what he is doing, and gets it done, but most importantly, he was quite quick to respond, both in terms of getting in touch, but also to get an appointment booked in. And when he did, he was willing to listen to my long rant about the issue and he understood both intellectually and emotionally the trials we had been through, and which lead us to need help. I hired RJ Plumbing to fix a leaking shower tray. After the work, the leak was still there, and they suggested rebuilding the whole tray. I went ahead, but the result was very disappointing. The shower was installed incorrectly – hot and cold water were fitted the wrong way round – such a basic and avoidable mistake, which means the shower cannot even be used properly. On top of that, I had already paid them for rubbish disposal, but they never arranged for anyone to collect it. All the waste was left outside my property. The job remains unfinished, and despite repeated attempts to contact them, I have not been able to get any response to put things right. I paid in good faith, but the work was not done with reasonable care or professionalism. I would not recommend this tradesperson.

Really disappointing service from Conway. - No communication whatsoever of how much it would cost. He only informed us that there would be call out charge, fair enough. However, he then visits property, claims that he worked for extra hours which our tenant doesn’t agree with and didn’t even bothered to inform us of what he has done or what is still needed further until I asked him after a day or so. - Bath needed new panel after basic work which was expected, we then have discussion that let us know how much it cost before ordering and take it from there, again Conway decided that it’s irrelevant what landlord says and ordered 4 times more expensive panel. - When questioned all of it, he then decides to overcharge as well. Then he started threatening that he would harass our tenant and ruin the bath. Unfortunately can’t trust him and I am not sure how long the work would last but I would avoid if I can.
