This is my reference of builder and all round handyman Radu. I found him to be the best builder I have ever had in the 26 years that I have been living in London. He is always on time and no problems to be around solves problems and I most certainly will not be getting any other builder from now on except Radu to work on both my properties in Kensington Chelsea and Kensington Olympia . He is fantastic at decorating does not take ages to do a job and is totally honest and absolute dream to have around and has had many years of experience . I will for sure refer him onto any of my friends who may need building works and or rennovations done to their homes or properties. Originally i wanted a rodent trap fitted to address a rat problem and a bad smell coming from under a bathroom bathtub. He convinced me to break apart the tile work to get under the bath and quoted £160 to just inspect the situation under the bath with "it wont be more than a few hundred quid to sort out any issues". He arrived at 7pm at my tenanted flat and then discovering alot of rat poo total price to be charged went up to £690. Timing of it all (late at night) left me with zero options and he knew it. I agreed to pay to get the job done. Bath panel that he said he would fit turned into a piece of plywood and he broke additional tiles beyond the tiled bath panel which is just careless. A week later a mysterious leak appeared and his plywood panel had to come out and will now need to be replaced as wet and warped. He showed up with 4 guys to do a 1 man job so I guess i that regard I got my money's worth. He made my tenant uncomfortable as wouldn't leave before payment was received. He covered the floor with ovc plastic sheeting to protect the floor but dumped this and other rubbish in the area in front of the flat where the upstairs neighbour was storing some bagged rubbish from their renovations. Everything about the transaction was off, maybe your experience will be different but I would not recommend this plumber to anyone else.

We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!
