He responded to an emergency call out but it transpires a mere tightening of a bolt was all that was needed. He took literally 10 seconds and charged me £70. It was of course my ineptitude… but given how difficult people are finding life and my own personal circumstances a little humility would have been welcome. I would have been more than happy to pay enough to cover the cost of this time and minor inconvenience + the MyBuilder charge of £12 but sadly goodwill didn’t prevail. Just left a very sour taste.

Alex removed and re- installed a new combi boiler in my loft. As a customer with zero knowledge in plumbing and heating I didn’t feel confident in explaining the problems I was having. After speaking to Alex on the phone he was very understanding and knowledgable of what was required and was genuinely a nice friendly person to speak to. This immediately put my mind at ease and I felt comfortable inviting him into my home. From start to finish, Alex made sure everything was clean and left spotless, from laying dust sheets to cover my carpets and flooring to hoovering up after himself. Overall i was left very impressed not just by his work but by his punctuality, his estimate on time it will take and all round respect for my home. I have already recommended Alex to friends and family and will definitely be getting him back round when I have any problems.

We are very pleased with the job completed by Mitch. The quote Mitch provided was very competitive and he was very responsive to all our questions. When we selected Mitch, he was able to fit the unit when we needed him to and majority of the work was completed within one day, he only needed to return the next day to have the electrician install the wireless thermostat. We would highly recommend Mitch to anyone who wants the job done to a very good standard and we will continue to use Mitch to service the boiler on an annual basis. I had a terrible experience with Terziu Construction on my kitchen renovation: ∙ Kitchen tiles are failing after less than 6 months - cracking and coming off ∙ Washed tools in my bathtub causing plumbing blockage ∙ Left the job site messy ∙ Took the excess floor tiles when he left, despite me paying for all materials ∙ Very argumentative and refused to listen to instructions throughout the project The work quality was unacceptable and his conduct was unprofessional. I now have to pay to redo the tiles. Save yourself the headache and hire someone else.
