Hired Steve to trace a stopcock so as to replace a shower valve and boiler in a tenanted flat. From the get go, Steve was always pressurising, jumping ahead of agreed appointments or changing them with little or no notice. However, he installed the shower valve well and sent videos - no complaints about this part of the work. However with the boiler, he hasn't provided any paperwork to show that its safe or legal, despite many many requests to do so (he's supposed to provide this as standard) and he said that he'll block me. He's now refused to do this and told me to sort myself out, meaning the boiler is unusable until someone else can check it over. Nathan came at short notice and was polite and professional at all times. He was unable to complete one job as I couldn't isolate the hot water. He fixed the toilet and also completed a few other small jobs that I had been putting off. When I find out how to turn off the hot water, I will ask him back to change the tap. I recently had a tap replacement done by this plumbing service. While the task was completed efficiently and in under an hour, I was disappointed with a few aspects. Firstly, the appointment was postponed twice, which was frustrating. Additionally, the tap installed was a different design from the one I had sent a picture of, and there was no effort made to confirm if I was happy with the choice. Although I had received a quote upfront, the service ended up feeling overpriced given the quality of the work.
