The job was completed, but the overall experience was poor. The contractor was rude and made threats. He also tried to go back on the agreed quote and asked for extra money after the work was finished. I would not recommend.

We hired Darktolight to move a pipe under the floorboards and put a radiator on the wall. They were nice people and tried to be helpful, and I can't fault their plumbing. However, the pipe rattles non stop under the floorboard as no clips were put down. When we mentioned this, they added 1, which came loose after a few days. The pipe is also too close to the floorboards in places so moves when you walk across the floor. The radiator was put on well (after a 2nd attempt), but again, the piping on one side was too close to the floorboard. Because of all of this, we have had to pay another plumbing firm to come and correct all of the mistakes. Overall I'm disappointed in the service.

Kostas was very clean and tidy when replacing my cracked shower tray and screen. He said he would do his best to remove the tiles without damaging them and he kept his word. I was so impressed. The tenants is known for being difficult sometimes but Ben dealt with it in a professional manner to the extent that the tenants even called me and said he was a very good guy and knows his stuff.
