Mitchell did a thorough job of identifying the root cause of the slow drain and trying to rectify as much as possible. While its not permanently resolved the flow is a much better. He recommended an alternative solution that could be a permanent fix. Which is to shorten the run of the shower to the toilet stackMitchell did a thorough job identifying the cause of a slow-draining shower and significantly improved the flow. While the issue isn't completely resolved, he explained the likely cause and recommended a practical long-term solution by shortening the shower waste run to the soil stack. Professional, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with.

I hired Terry to replace a stopcock which my tenant reported was leaking. Upon attending the property, Terry called me and advised that the stopcock was not leaking and that the wet area was due to condensation. Based on this professional opinion, I paid for one hour of his time and the job was closed. A few days later, the tenant contacted me again as the stopcock was still leaking. I hired a second, separate plumber who attended and confirmed the stopcock was definitely leaking. The second plumber successfully replaced the stopcock in less than an hour. This resulted in an unnecessary delay to the repair and an unwarranted cost (Terry's fee). While Terry was polite, the diagnosis was incorrect, leading to the problem persisting and requiring a second call-out.

We had previously used Robert to change our old boiler system to a new combi boiler system, and also used him to change and move some radiators in some rooms we were renovating. So when we decided to redo our bathroom Robert was the obvious choice. He did an excellent job. Firstly during the quoting phase he gave us numerous options and recommendations regarding the type of fittings that would work in the bathroom space, and then gave us options on dates that would best suit us to be without the use of the bathroom. During the work, Robert always arrived when best suited for us, in our case before we went on the school run early in the morning. Robert also always made sure we had a toilet available for use during the work, which made the time a lot easier. The work was completed to a very high standard, and the bathroom is so much better than we had before. We would definitely use Robert for more plumbing and heating work, and would definitely recommend him to others.

I hired Ross because when he first attended to quote he was very informative about the work he would need to undertake and explained this in such a way it was easy to understand. The job took longer than expected due to some unforeseen issues but nevertheless he carried on to ensure it got done and he frequently checked and re-checked his work, keeping me updated as he went along. He was a little more expensive than other quotes I'd had but his initial visit gave me confidence to use him. Would recommend him.

I hired Callum to install the waste In my shower tray, and I supplied all the materials, including the tray (£150) and the waste / trap (£40). Callum only needed to connect the tray to the trap, that was it, everything was laid out on the floor ready. It took him an hour and half, a timeframe I found more than reasonable. While Callum seemed personable and efficient during the job, I was completely taken aback when I received an invoice from Callum later that evening for £350, this equates to an hourly rate of £233 an hour, which is significantly higher than the going rate of £75-£80ph for a plumber. When I raised my concerns with Callum, he then claimed the price had been communicated through the app, which I was able to confirm had not happened. After this he quickly adjusted the invoice to £160, reducing it by £190! This sudden reduction raised questions for me about the original pricing. I would advise others to confirm prices up front to avoid any nasty surprises
