Disappointing experience with Craig - he asked for £140 initially to unblock/investigate the drains. After 30mins visiting our property, no drains were unblocked, and the main manhole in the basement was not opened to assess any issues within. His follow-on quote for works were above £1k which seemed unreasonable. When i tried to explain that £140 seemed unreasonable for time spent without unblocking anything, he threatened an admin fee and daily interest if i didn't pay. Obviously not worth that hassle so i paid in full, but very disappointing that tradesmen continue to get away with this behaviour.

I had Martin and Ryan out to re-pipe the plumbing in my kitchen and also a little bit of help with some kitchen cabinets as I was plaaning to do alot of the kitchen work myself. Martin was very professional, knowledgeable and patient with all the question I had asked. I'm very satisfied with the work and I would recommend them.

Very impressed with the value, work ethic and advice of Joe and his team. Very proactive with a close eye to detail. We found Joe always happy to help. Georgi was great and we are already planning to have him back for further work. He fitted five fire doors in record time, including self-close mechanism on the kitchen door, to irregular frames and to a quality befitting a professional carpenter. He installed a kitchen window pane in 30 mins as part of his daily rate and a bunch of other fixes, including constructing a makeshift kitchen cabinet, installing ventilation fans, pre-cutting skirting boards, reinstalling and fixing a shower enclosure. He was multiskilled, punctual, polite and with a full professional tooset. When I asked him to redo a boxing-in of pipes which I hadn't specified to him adequately, he didn't quibble and on the second go he did a superb job. I wish I had found him to do my whole kitchen fitting!

100% positive on this transaction. Penningtons sent quote via e-mail after coming to look at problem (waterhammer and jammed main stopcock). Turned up promptly for initial look and job. Although work took three hours longer than they had originally signed in for, carried on until task satisfactorily completed, and charged me only £20 more than original agreed fee for an extra part required after agreeing this slight increase with me on site. Payment by online bank transfer. And everything done as far as I can see to a high professional standard. So no complaints whatsoever. Recommended!

Robert did a great job in identifying and fixing the issue with our electric shower. Electric circuit had burned down and needed new wiring. Robert did a good job of fixing the wiring even though the old connection was too tight. He had to drill around the socket and rewire the whole thing, and his work was clean and neat. His charges were very reasonable as well.
