We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

I am a seasoned My Builder user and hard to impress - Angie impressed me. This was an urgent job and he turned up almost immediately to remove old appliance. When the new one arrived, he turned up quickly to fit. Then we noticed that one of the pipes was too short - he was immediately at Toolstation to buy a new one with his own money. Fitted the washer dyrer perfectly. Very polite, friendly and cheerful. Cleaned up thoroughly. Excellent work - do not hesitate to call him.

I called Ali on Friday evening after being linked up through MyBuilder. He was the 1st one who got in touch, so we agreed on timing for the following day. He turned up as we agreed. I couldn't be happier with MPS Maintenance in general and Marcus in particular. He came to my house to have a look at the job before quoting, which I felt was thorough. All admin related to the work was undertaken by Marta at the office, who is friendly, cheerful and efficient. (I think it's a good idea to have a separation between the person doing the work and the money/admin side of things, if possible, by the way.) On the day we agreed, Marcus and Isaac arrived on time, and set to work. Unfortunately, there had been a mix-up with the products ordered, and they couldn't complete the job that day. In fact, for various reasons, it extended over several days. Throughout, Marcus and Isaac worked hard, made sure everything was stacked neatly at the end of the day, and stayed patient and good-humoured, despite the unexpected delays in completion, none of which were their fault. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Marcus and Isaac. They were both polite and good-natured, they completed the job to a good standard, and I was very comfortable having them in my home.

Piotr (Peter) was extremely prompt, polite and efficient. He contacted me on the same day as the job was posted, gave me a competitive quote and came over to inspect the required job first. He fixed an appointment to start the work on the next day, arrived punctually, finished the job which was quite a tricky one to access as it was located behind fitted kitchen cabinets, in less than an hour and a quarter, tidied up and left after testing the connection fully. A very pleasant and satisfying repair experience altogether. Would use him again and thoroughly recommend him. SW (homeowner)
