After posting my job Samir replied with ‘I’m working in your area at the moment just finishing a job I can come round if that’s convenient for you, no call out charge.’ However, after he phoned, I was told there would be a mandatory £90 ‘inspection fee’. He said if the job was small the £90 would go towards the total charge. He attended the flat and, in a minute or two, identified a worn-out small plastic part. He said he would charge me £20 for the part and £100 for the fix, so the total cost was £120. He completed the work in just under 30 minutes and informed me the bill was £210. I had assumed the £90 ‘inspection fee’ formed part of the payment, but he said no, this would be on top. In hindsight, other contractors had been quoting £50 per hour for labour, so the £190 I paid for half an hour was effectively almost eight times this rate. To be balanced, he was punctual, polite and competent. Overall, I would advise any potential customers to ensure you are crystal clear on charges.

Joseph was on time, polite, friendly and tidy. He explained clearly the issue and fixed it within an hour or so. So far, so good and no more leaking bath! Reasonably priced too in comparison to other quotes I received. Very happy and wouldn't hesitate to hire Joseph again. The only thing I would say is that it would have been great to get a receipt/ invoice for the work so there is a record of the job and cost etc. But I'm sure that would be easy to implement if I had asked. Overall really pleased and glad to have selected Joseph.

it was an outdoor job in the garden and raining and after quoting a reasonable price Cooya came, Price was very good and without caring or grumbling about the rain, he stayed all day and completed the job very professionally. i would not hesitate to ask him again if i need to. Lee plumbed a washing machine into a bathroom for us (which at time of writing this we've not actually used, but we're happy so far). He also removed a bedroom gas radiator, which required pulling up a section of carpet, and was all done neatly and with good communication from Lee on specific options for how the remaining pipework could be accessed. Lee was also helpful in connecting us with a recommended electrician, to complete some wiring work on the washing machine. He was professional and easygoing to deal with throughout.

I appointed Vision Contracts as my preferred vendor for the Trace and Repair job based on their existing feedback and also their clarity of services that they were providing. Jack from Vision Contracts explained the steps clearly on the process of the trace and repair before making the appointment to visit. He came round and evaluated the situation and carried out some tests to see if he could identify the leaking source. He cut access hatches to see if the waste pipe to the bath was leaking and checked all the pipe work to the bath taps and behind both the washing mashing and dishwasher. As part of the flood test investigation of the the area, he noticed that there were faulty tiles where the water was cascading down the back of the bath and realized this was the issue. The works he carried out was very thorough and he left nothing to chance. All avenues were tested to ensure the job was completed to a high standard i.e. identification of the leak source. A temporary repair was put in place as this was not part of the agreement and photo evidence was shared (before, during and after) of the works performed. Very happy and would highly recommend.

Tiled kitchen floor unfortunately didn’t go to plan. However, I would give this company credit for trying they returned twice more to replace cracking grout. Floor should have been fully boarded prior to tiling and was only partially boarded. At more expense to us we have had to physically remove all tiles and had the floor fully boarded and re floored without any further issues. Despite issues raised Company given 3 stars because during the problems they were very supportive and they tried to rectify the issues.
