Accredited Vaillant, Worcester Bosch & Glow-Worm installation engineer. Self employed for 8 years, full gas safe registration and public liability insurance up to £2million. Please feel free to ask anything. Currently sub contracting as a repair engineer in the housing sector during the winter - from fault diagnosis on complex light commercial/large domestic systems to landlord certification in 1 bedroom flats - and a commercial catering engineer in the event & hospitality sector during the summer - from installing and de rigging large temporary kitchens in marquees at the races to ‘standby’ engineering at main stream sporting events to repair appliances if they were to fail whilst the event is live - in between building up my own clientele portfolio mainly by word of mouth. My domestic rate is £78 ( £65+ ) My commercial rate is £102 ( £85+ ) No call out rate but would be charged hours rate for up to the first hour. Every hour after is split in half. For instances if I attend and am completed in 40 minutes this would be the first hours rate. If it is 90 minutes to complete this would be 1.5 x the hourly rate.
