Hired to finish off a complete flat renovation - work mainly consisted of painting, some remedial repair work, light carpentry and a snagging list. Whilst Raj and his guy were great at light repairs, handyman and carpentry work (which is the only reason I’m even rating them with stars), their attention to detail and completion of the snagging list was very poor! Despite having discussions with me to rectify things after I showed him examples, the flat is now left with uneven paint edges, drip marks, uneven grouting, unpainted architraves and sloppy silicone work. Whilst they are good at some things, decorating is definitely not one of them, so it’s a shame and disappointing.

Chris called me immediately after I shortlisted him for the job, and quoted a fair and competitive price. As soon as the toilet and basin arrived, Chris booked the job for the same week. The job was completed to a high standard and I am very happy with the finish. Everything was cleaned before Chris left and all the pipework is nice and tidy too. Hired Mr. Mouellef to service my boiler. He recommended that the boiler be turned off and sealed for Carbon Monixide. I told him that I didn’t want to turn it off and I would place an order within 24 hours for a new boiler. He called the authorities to come to my home and turn it off. I called Pimlico and they came the next day to check the boiler. They disagreed with the findings of the engineer after checking for Carbon Monoxide and disagreed with the report. Pimlico turned my boiler back on.

We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

It’s a shame to write this, as James did an initially good job replacing the pump and advised me to add strainers (which I paid extra for) to help preserve it. Unfortunately, the pump still stopped working within a year (not necessarily his fault). When I told him of the urgency because new tenants were moving in, he came to diagnose the issue, charged me for the diagnosis, and said with certainty it was the shower cartridges, promising to return to replace them. Unfortunately, he never came back despite numerous calls and messages. When I hired another plumber, I discovered the diagnosis was also incorrect. I’ve been left out of pocket and badly let down, especially given the urgency of the situation. Advice: Be cautious about paying upfront for extra work or a diagnosis unless you’re confident the job will be completed properly.
