Harry ended up doing several jobs for me including plastering, electrical work, kitchen fitting and bathroom tiling. He was a courteous tradesman who was pleasant to deal with. He is multi skilled. As with all tradesmen, it’s important to agree the scope of the work clearly and agree payment and costs. I would certainly recommend Harry to quote.

Brought our house in 2022 and completely stripped it back to brick, had to have everywhere damp proofed and so on.. we were planning on Plasterboarding the place ourself however I thought I’d drop Corbin a message to come and give me a quote, he got back in touch with me very quickly. He came out at his earliest convenience and the price that he quoted me I couldn’t turn down, he gave me the choice wether we wanted to supply the materials or he was to source them, in the end we purchased them ourself. The first part of the job was downstairs, we had the whole placed boarded, downstairs consisted of around 70 boards, he was there first thing in the morning at around 7am and when we went to view it at 12.30 the place was nearly finished !! Couldn’t believe how quick he was at the job, he then worked the rest of the afternoon and came back the next day for a few hours which was basically cleaning up where he had been working, the downstairs was completed in just over a days work, was very happy with the time it took, also he left all the offcuts in a neat pile for me to get rid of them, couldn’t fault it. Next part of the job was upstairs, again this was completed in around a day this time there was around 45 boards used so for the whole job it took a few days to complete. He also came back for a separate job to board my bathroom walls and ceiling, this time he supplied the boards and had it done in a few hours, once again happy with the price I will definitely use Corbin for future projects and wouldn’t even consider getting anyone else in for a quote as there was no point in doing so. Avoid. Ali is a nice person however he does not work to the standard or even regulations that are required. Shocking plastering and brick work. Have had to spend hundreds on his rectifying his plastering with a rented sander. The brickwork done needs to be repointed due to the mortar used already crumbling away when you touch it - the work is a month old…… Ali is happy to constantly take on more work knowing he does not have the ability to complete to the required standard of the customer and building regulations. Not just money I have had to spend rectifying Ali’s work but also the time! And when renovating a house I do not have the time to be going over work I have PAID people to do! Very disappointing as I say Ali is a nice man but does not have the standard to be working on properties. It is unsafe and non-compliant. Few examples attached - there is a lot more unfortunately

Raj and his workers did a great job of the plastering we asked him to carry out in our hallway. We asked him to strip the wallpaper, skim/plaster and then sand the walls. We additionally asked him to add spotlights and he happily agreed and carried out the electrical work. Overall I would say him and his team did a great job.

I am incredibly pleased with the work Richard has carried out for me. He was able to accommodate my request at an incredibly short notice and was communicated excellently when quoting for the work. Upon arrival he carried out the work above and beyond what I was expecting and explained every step of what he was doing, as well as giving his own advice on some other smaller jobs which I could carry out myself. He was very polite, he even worked through his lunch to get the work finished and most importantly was very tidy! It was raining outside which meant he had to mix his plaster indoors but I couldn’t find a speck of dust when he left. I would highly recommend Richard and will certainly be using him again.
