Absolutely brilliant! Work was completed to a very high standard! Great with ideas and very creative. Very professional and great time keeping. Highly would recommend to anyone looking for a great plasterer.. his prep work is perfect and pays close attention to detail, no rush work.. priced very reasonably. Restoration & Refurbishment- 12 Jun 2026
Hired to finish off a complete flat renovation - work mainly consisted of painting, some remedial repair work, light carpentry and a snagging list. Whilst Raj and his guy were great at light repairs, handyman and carpentry work (which is the only reason I’m even rating them with stars), their attention to detail and completion of the snagging list was very poor! Despite having discussions with me to rectify things after I showed him examples, the flat is now left with uneven paint edges, drip marks, uneven grouting, unpainted architraves and sloppy silicone work. Whilst they are good at some things, decorating is definitely not one of them, so it’s a shame and disappointing.

Elvis of E & G Builders was extremely fast, responsive and polite in responding to my query. He was able to give advice and a quote promptly at a very reasonable price. The job of replacing one ceiling and repairing / plastering another was booked in and completed very quickly. When there was a problem (a crack in one area of drying plaster) the team came back and fixed it straight away without question at a time of our convenience. We were very pleased with the service.

I have had to change my review after the ceilings that Alex did for my daughter, cracked and the plaster became loose. I tried to be reasonable with him but he tried to shed the blame on me that the rooms were not aired properly. This was not the case and I would be careful if employing him. I have given him lots of opportunities to remedy the problem, but wanted paying again to do this. In response to Alex’s comments below. My daughter is on prescribed cannabis from Curaleaf for her illness and smokes in the garden. I don’t smoke at all. I got second opinions from 3 other plasterers who all said this should not happen if the ceilings were primed properly.

Very pleased with the service provided by Nick . Our hard wood flooring in dining area was badly damaged but it was replaced and restored very professionally to its original glory. Simon has done an excellent job of the plastering and the whole experience has been very good from beginning to end. Simon was punctual both to quote for the job and on the 2 days he attended. He was very quick in confirming the quote and responding to any messages. The job took longer than expected (an additional half-day) due to some difficult to remove wallpaper on one of the walls and the poor state of the existing wall underneath. Simon explained everything clearly and was obviously committed to doing the job properly rather than taking short cuts to get it finished. I was impressed that Simon came straight back the following morning and stayed until the job was finished to standard. I would not hesitate in using Simon again or recommending him to others.

My colleague referred me to Raed who previously have had used R.Hamandi Ltd for construction work and they were very happy with the quality of service. Along with some other building company's last year I also contacted Raed for an estimate. Raed gave us a reasonable price with all the details of proposed work. He also explained about the possible options of how we could get the best value for our money. His professional and friendly advice helped us a lot to understand what exactly we needed and what was best for us to go ahead for our project. We decided to go ahead with R.Hamandi ltd. Raed gave us breakdown of the project and everything was documented. His support in communicating with council and planning related issues was valuable. All the planning permission requirements were followed. Presence of experienced and trust worthy staff including laborers, handymen, carpenters and painters really made it easy for me and family to be around and comfortable while they were working or to leave the house whenever we had to. Raed himself used to visit the site everyday to oversee the progress and used to discuss and take care of any possible issues. Raed's team used to turn up on time and the project was finished on time too. Even after the completion of the project staff at R.Hamandi ltd and Raed himself contacted us few times to find out if we're happy with the work carried out or if we needed any further assistance. Now we have a fully refurbed house with double side extension and loft conversion. Overall amazing service, professional, reliable and trustworthy. I recommend R.Hamandi ltd to everyone for an A+ service. Thanks,
