My partner and I couldn't be more thrilled with the service and standard of workmanship that Matt and his team have achieved on our recent first floor conversion. The quality of the finish is fantastic and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to family and friends. Throughout the whole build communication was brilliant and at no point did Matt or Tony ever assume or make any decisions without consultation or checking in. Problems and solutions were worked through jointly and nothing was every to much trouble especially as the scope of what we originally asked for grew as the build went on. This was driven by us adding items to the original brief. They were really helpful with recommending showrooms and suppliers which made the decision making process streamlined. We were lucky to move out for the build but everyday our home was kept clean and tidy. Finally all snagging has been dealt with promptly and it's lovely to see that the company is also striving for a high standard of finish. Thanks very much for everything.

We have just had some work completed on our house, which included render removal and K re-rendering to the rear of our property, we had all guttering, drainpipes, soffits and fascias replaced, as well as our front bay windows and porch area prepped and re-painted. We also had some bricks replaced and others re-pointed to the bay area This work was carried out by Jim (James) Riddy, with the help of his son, also called James. Jim was incredibly meticulous, taking care of the smallest details, nothing was too much trouble. He was professional, personable, respectful and very hardworking, turning up early and always on time. They always cleaned up and cleared away every day before leaving. We are extremely happy with all the work carried out and would definitely recommend Jim Riddy (and James!) and would absolutely not hesitate to use them again.

Mr Timmins worked on transforming a dilapidated garage into a Grandad Annex for my father and his partner . The work was of an incredibly high standard in my opinion. Mr Timmins arrived early and left late. I wish I could send photos of the before and after it was amazing to see. I am in the process of contacting Mr Timmins again as I have some more building work for him and I do recommend him on a regular basis .

We had a big storm and tiles were lost and a large hole appeared in the bedroom ceiling. Mike stepped in at short notice and fitted in a new piece of plasterboard and then with plaster over it the hole magically disappeared. He did a brilliant job at a very reasonable price and finished it all off by painting the whole ceiling. I would certainly call on him again for any plastering job. Thank you Mike.

I Sent a detailed description and pictures of the job for a quote. They looked at the pictures and quoted. They arrived on the scheduled date. I spent half a day Prior preparing the area to make things easier for them. When they arrived, they had a little moan about the job because more material would be needed. I offered to pay more then the agreed price,they moaned some more about beading and wires. I said I can’t make you do it, Let me know if it’s going ahead. 15 mins later after scratching their heads a-bit more they said they would pass on the job. They left, and I’m back to square 1. This was my experience with Plastec. But try your luck, you may have a different experience.

Mike came to my house to remove a wall and re plaster walls and ceiling to all areas ready for the second fix which was to be a complete new bathroom, Mike showed immense knowledge of many trades and suggested he would complete the required works. My wife and I had our ideas but with input from Mike we achieved so much more. He moved the soil pipe to a more suitable position and instructed a plumber he new as to what we needed, areas of the floor came up to re route pipework and waste pipes, all to be out of site. He took on the complete tiling, electrics and the final installation of the bath, a low level shower, pedestal and hand basin, and the loo, working weekends as well to get it finished. To say we are delighted is an understatement. The finished room is really that out of a catalogue thanks to Mike and M R Developments. On completion he went off to another job, an extension I believe, when he completed that he came back to us to construct a loo and cloakroom, again superb workmanship. Summing up Mike is a contentious, punctual, reliable and trustworthy man, we really are grateful for his expertise. We would not hesitate to recommend his services. Many thanks Mike

Jake did an excellent job of our ceiling, at very short notice. Our painter had come across a problem, but Jake was able to sort it out very professionally. He cleared up after himself well too! Our painter commented on Jake’s talent - apparently not all plasterers would have done such a good job Would thoroughly recommend him.
