Peter did a great job bricking up the gaps in our attic. Went above and beyond to find matching bricks even though not asked, glad he did as it makes a huge difference. A very thorough job. He took great care of our property and left everything very clean. A pleasure to have working in the house.

John was friendly and professional throughout. His advice was invaluable and actually kept the eventual cost down. The work was undertaken promptly and to a great standard. Not a great deal of mess either considering the nature of the job with John keeping everywhere as clean as he possibly could. Would definitely use again.

I hired David Edwards for a project that was meant to take 6–8 weeks. Over a year later, the work remains unfinished despite me paying £5,000 of a £5,800 contract. Communication has been poor, with long absences from site and constant excuses. He repeatedly changed what my payments were supposed to cover, demanded money upfront without providing receipts, and some receipts later provided were for items I had already purchased myself. The workmanship is substandard — loose tiles, unfinished sills, poor grouting, paint smeared on windows, render already peeling, doors not replaced as agreed, and many areas left incomplete. He still insists the job is “finished” despite extensive photographic evidence proving otherwise. I now have to hire other tradespeople to correct and complete the work at further cost. In my experience, David Edwards has been unreliable, dishonest, and unprofessional. I would not recommend him.

‘Having thought about having our integral double garage converted to a living space for the last five years we finally pushed the button and come across Josh and his dad Carl through MyBuilder. Not knowing them, we were apprehensive at first, but from the get go they were really personable, well mannered and most importantly on the ball and accommodating when it came to actually undertaking the work. We are really pleased with the job that they did (it’s hard to even imagine that the room was previously a garage!) and will certainly look to use them again for any future jobs. Chris and his team painted/decorated our lounge (following plastering), so there was also preparation work to be done. Additionally he removed skirting boards, and boarded and filled the wall behind them. We were very pleased with the work, which was done to a high standard. Chris and his team are clearly experienced and skilled tradesmen. Chris was a very friendly and approachable person to deal with, he seemed to take everything into his stride, and nothing seemed too much trouble for him or his team. He and his team were prompt and reliable, and delivered high customer service and satisfaction. I wouldn’t have any hesitation in recommending Chris & his team to others, and we will definitely be using him again.
