Oral has great communication and turned up at the time he told me he'd be here as well. He was kind, courteous and very clean. I hired Oral to plaster a floating TV wall that I had built with alcoves. He did a superb job and had no hidden costs added on to the quote. Overall very happy with the service, highly recommend Oral and will definitely use again.

Liam did a fantastic job today. He removed some plasterboard, fitted new skirting and architraves around the door, and finished everything to a really high standard. He was friendly, professional and very easy to communicate with throughout. I was really impressed with the quality of his work and his skills. Could not recommend more highly, the best client service and product I have ever received. This is a father and son team who absolutely shattered expectations - we genuinely consider ourselves so lucky to have found David and his father and couldn't be happier with their service. On the first meeting their expertise was immediately obvious, with just a single walk through of the property being enough for them to identify what we needed and pick up on details that only comes from years and years of practical experience. That set the tone for rest of the relationship, with there being so many instances of them going out of there way with no other intention than to provide the best client outcome possible. Here are just a few examples that show their genuine client care and professionalism: - David was constantly available on WhatsApp or the phone to answer questions or provide advice with almost instant responses. I don't think I've ever experienced better client service in any context. - David and his dad personally ran around London for days trying to find replacement doors that fit the frames, picked up paints from the store, found and purchased appropriate fittings like door stops, light switch covers etc. - these small things were taken care of us with just us needing to approve options they found in store. It was a massive time and stress saver for us. - we were doing this on the fly so evolved our requirements almost constantly throughout the project - these were always accommodated and not only that, with such a positive and helpful attitude that it made our lives so much easier - when retiling the bathroom they informed me they would have to take the cabinets out to tile underneath - I suggested they could tile around it but insisted that it should be done in case we ever wanted to replace the cabinet. They did this at no extra cost to ourselves, just extra work for them which underscores their professionalism. - they gave proactive advice on so many aspects of the project, including the most appropriate paints and floor varnishes, proactively identifying design faults that we were not aware of and remediating them (e.g. very oddly placed light switches), identified a pretty shoddy job of repairing a leak in the loft and future proofed it for us which is again something we would never have been aware of until another leak occurred, they even proactively put a small sliding door into the bathtub panelling (no extra cost) to ensure any future plumbing issues could easily be investigated. - they were unbelievably clean which was such a nice bonus - the property was immaculate at the end of every day, and for me that showed a level of respect for clients and the property that is so hard to find. - measurements - they took care of all of these for us , including tile measurements, blinds, garden edging etc. - it was such a luxury to be able to just be told how much of each needed to be ordered and they were 100% accurate - again such a time and stress saver for us. These are just some examples of our experience, I can honestly say that this is the lever of service we received throughout. With such an amazing service you might think that they would have charged a premium. This was not the case, in fact the opposite, I could easily see another contractor charge 2-3 times what we paid, and it is particularly impressive when you consider the flawless finishing and breadth of work they undertook - the whole house repainted (walls, ceilings, cabinets), the flooring sanded and revarnished plus carpet upstairs taken out and floorboards repaired, painted and varnished, garden landscaped, bathrooms retiling, fireplace retailing, toilets replaced, light switches rewired etc - it was a full makeover. They also achieved all this in 2 weeks - that is no mean feat but is even more impressive when you consider that our requirements were constantly evolving - they took all in their stride and just replanned sequencing of activities to accommodate us. We have since passed David's details onto no less than 5 friends who have all been absolutely delighted, so we've put our recommendation into practice!

Patrick has been a saviour and a star for us. After building a new kitchen extension we had been left with a slew of jobs by our former building contractor. Patrick has put up floating shelves, fixed a shower screen, solved some damp issues, several other small tasks and also did a beautiful and caring job laying our engineered wood floor. All to a high standard of finish and after either coming round or carefully consulting with us over what we needed and how we would approach it. After a very rocky ride with our main building contractors Patrick's caring attitude has been a huge relief and we fully recommend him.

Elvis of E & G Builders was extremely fast, responsive and polite in responding to my query. He was able to give advice and a quote promptly at a very reasonable price. The job of replacing one ceiling and repairing / plastering another was booked in and completed very quickly. When there was a problem (a crack in one area of drying plaster) the team came back and fixed it straight away without question at a time of our convenience. We were very pleased with the service.

Hi, I have been working in my spare time doing my own building/ maintenance projects for the last 19 years now, whilst being the Headteacher at a school in North London. In 2004, I ended 17 years as a self employed,General builder, to retrain and work in education with Nursery children. That led me on into my Headteachers role. Now after 19 years I am returning to General building, I enjoy hard work, seeing peoples homes enhanced, watching peoples ideas become real for them. Working with people is a strong point for me, maintaining good working relationships with them is so important. I was hesitating about leavening feedback for a long time, but in the end decided to do it. I hired Anton for the job and when he came round I unfortunately was very unwell running high fever, so wasn’t entirely with it. Anton didn’t fix the tap but simply found another way I could run water in the bath (which was already there). He charged me £400 for simply showing me how to open another tap. If I were well, there’s no way I would have paid him so much money. Another plumber came round since and fixed the problem for £180. All I can say I’ve felt de-frauded.
