Thank you Andrii for my new bathroom! This was a full bathroom refurbishment. Andrii did an amazing job: - He responded quicky to my request and offered a quote straight away, which he honoured after the visit and after an increase in scope during the work. - His attention to detail was excellent. I didn't have to point out any issues, he delivered fully on his promises and more. - Tiling work was very skillful, he joined tiles at 45 degrees without the need for trims on top, which I didn't even think was possible. - Throughout the job he maintained high levels of cleanliness, preventing dust to other rooms, cleaning up after each day and taking away any things back to the car. - He had a son who worked with him; an extra pair of hands makes a big difference for a big project. He would be equally suitable for smaller ones too. I highly recommend Andrii - honest, professional, hard-working. I did two other projects with other builders before but he was the best.

This gentleman has been superb from start to finish. He was very accommodating and was able to work around my schedule. He redid my flooring and the quality of finish was really amazing. He even did the skirting and was able to help with a few other odd bits around the house. Definitely having him back again for some handwork :)

Restoration & Refurbishment- 7 May 2019
£2,360 to completely gut and install a 2x3m bathroom. Wojtek was absolutely excellent from start to finish. Even when there was small leak one evening, he immediately drove back half an hour to fix it in the evening. Also when I messed up the ordering of some parts, he was accommodating and didn't get frustrated with me. The quality of the workmanship appears to be excellent (to the untrained eye) and he delivered everything exactly on schedule. A really really minor point, was that he used the wrong colour grout in an unobvious spot, because he ran out of the correct colour, but he came back an fixed it straight away. But that is nit-picking. I cannot recommend him enough and will definitely be using him again. And to top it all off, he's a nice bloke.

Otto is a good person, first of all. He’s been very honest throughout the job, always communicating and adapting where necessary. He is professional and gets involved in his work. I am a trader myself so I know how to differentiate between traders. He has done plastering, painting, fitting coving, sanding floorboards to a professional standard. Liviu and his team did an excellent job and very professional. Liviu gave us a reasonable quote, he replaced the old ceiling, plastered and painted the walls. He also installed a new radiator and an internal bifold doors. We’re really pleased with his job as it was finished to a high standard. He’s a great guy and very friendly. I would highly recommend him and have already hired him for another job.

Adam Favor and NOVA Design & Build are a nice bunch of guys and they are reliable/helpful. However, when it came to coving, architrave and flooring, acceptable standards were unfortunately not met. Other specialists had to be brought in to re-do around 20% of the job; namely certain sections of the cornice and door architrave. In the former, a few things were below standard including: 1) not joining the friezes in the correct places, 2) cutting inaccurately, 3) leaving gaps, 4) using silicon as a filler and adhesive. For the door architrave, the wood was misaligned and not glued/nailed properly. The flooring was not laid well because there are huge gaps at times; sometimes at 1 cm. Since the kitchen has been installed, it is too late to take up the floorboards again. The most dubious thing of all in this job was the quote received for decorating which was c. 15k for 47 m2. This included plastering repairs, but ultimately the job got done by someone else to a high standard at 7k.

Dave was brilliant - provided a fair priced quote work for the job following a viewing. Arrived on time, didnt stop all day, neat and tidy and the finish is spot on. Well reccomended and will use again for any plastering needs!
