Before I begin, I want to be fair and say that Mike seemed like a nice guy and I'm sure he is very able in many things, however, plastering is not one of them. My previous plasterer broke his arm, so I was in need of a new tradesperson quickly. I received a call from Mike's partner, who arranged a quotation promptly and we agreed on a price. I later met Mike and two other 'plasterers' at the property being renovated as agreed. Three days later, I received a call from one of mike's crew (claiming to be Mike himself) who went round in circles for ten minutes until he effectively told me 'the job is too big, we can't do it'. I told him in that case I'd meet him at the property within the hour to get the key back and be done with it. Upon arrival, Mike and his crew were nowhere to be found, and the state they left my house in was disgusting. They had been smoking inside, there was half eaten sandwiches on the floor, rubbish everywhere, the fittings were covered in plaster splatters, not to mention the quality of the walls they did manage to plaster. The list goes on. I haven't tried to reach Mike as I got the message quite clearly. Mike, I understand if you are trying to branch out to other fields, though in future, if the job is too big or the price agreed is too low, may I recommend you give your customers a call yourself to discuss, rather than leaving them in the dark and making a run for it. I'd steer well clear of this one.

Speedy response.Reliable, and trustworthy. Arrived early in the morning and worked effortlessly without a break, apart from a few cups of tea. He had a major job repairing my walls, but did a fantastic job, finished to a very high standard. The job was completed within the estimated time scale. By the time I got home from work the whole area had been hoovered, skirting boards wiped clean, and furniture placed in a position that would'nt damage the walls.i would definately use him again, and certainly recommend him to my friends and prospective customers.

We recently had quite a big exterior rendering job carried out by Spartan rendering. Neil and Jason did a very good job despite of the awful weather we had at the time and some difficult areas they had to deal with. They were always punctual and updated us with any schedule changes needed due to the weather conditions. Both were a pleasure to have working at the house. They were tidy workers and were conscientious about details. They were flexible in accommodating any changes needed and always happy to give their advice to ensure the finished job was as good as it could be. The job transformed the building and we are very pleased with the result. We would highly recommend Spartan Rendering and hope to arrange for some further work be done by them soon.

Alas I didn't get to pick Joe as my neighbour opted for someone local . However I was very impressed with Joe and will make contact in the future if and when I am needing work in my home , reason being Joe was very aware of health and safety issues and advised a humidifier ASAP. I liked the way Joe looked at the issues and gave good explanations as to what was needed ,polite professional and confident. K/SUL Plastering did an excellent job repairing a hole in the kitchen ceiling caused by a water leak. The work was arranged quickly and completed to a high standard. As a long-distance landlord, it’s important for me to have reliable tradesmen I can trust, and this was completely straightforward. Good communication, no fuss, no mess, and the job was left clean and tidy. I would happily use him again and would strongly recommend him.
