Great, reliable contractors. Had a full flat repaint job with some minor repairs (blinds fixing, handle replacement). Claudia was very efficient and responsive in communication. All was arranged pretty quick, appointment attended on time and kept to time schedule agreed. Had done a great job with repaint and provided reasonable rates. Also helped out with few minor repairs so I didn't have to get someone else. Very happy with the service , will certainly hire again. Thank you guys.

Absolutely brilliant! Work was completed to a very high standard! Great with ideas and very creative. Very professional and great time keeping. Highly would recommend to anyone looking for a great plasterer.. his prep work is perfect and pays close attention to detail, no rush work.. priced very reasonably. Adam Favor and NOVA Design & Build are a nice bunch of guys and they are reliable/helpful. However, when it came to coving, architrave and flooring, acceptable standards were unfortunately not met. Other specialists had to be brought in to re-do around 20% of the job; namely certain sections of the cornice and door architrave. In the former, a few things were below standard including: 1) not joining the friezes in the correct places, 2) cutting inaccurately, 3) leaving gaps, 4) using silicon as a filler and adhesive. For the door architrave, the wood was misaligned and not glued/nailed properly. The flooring was not laid well because there are huge gaps at times; sometimes at 1 cm. Since the kitchen has been installed, it is too late to take up the floorboards again. The most dubious thing of all in this job was the quote received for decorating which was c. 15k for 47 m2. This included plastering repairs, but ultimately the job got done by someone else to a high standard at 7k.

One of the best plasterboard specialists around. Knew exactly what to do in regards to my soundproofing job, where lots of other guys had no clue! gave me lots of advice and priced very competitively. Would not hesitate to use him again! Also did a fantastic time lapse video of the whole job. Job Genie clip wall and ceiling system with two layers of acoustic plasterboard and tecsound rubber.

Conversions - General- 29 Dec 2021
We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!
