John arrived bang on time, he made sure everything was covered up and it was clear he was passionate about the job he was doing. John did a fantastic professional job and you could tell he had been doing plastering for 29 years. His rates are very reasonable and he is a genuine nice person. Don't bother with anyone else you will not be disappointed.

Very impressed with quality of workmanship by Stephen. Excellent price which was very competitive. Made suggestion on how to improve ceiling finish rather than keep it as Artex. In such a small room this was a perfect suggestion which we were all very happy with. Stephen placed sheeting throughout the house to protect the carpet Toilet and basin prior to work commencing, cleaning everything afterwards to a high standard. Very friendly and responsive tradesman. I would highly recommend Stephen for all plastering jobs

Johny the Builder has provided their services to refurbish some areas of our house. From start to finish, Ionel was extremely professional and has always provided his best support to answer any questions we had and made himself available every time we needed him. He demonstrated very good communication, he is friendly and has a can-do attitude well in line with what Johny the Builder delivers. Ionel's knowledge of building improvements is limitless. His team has been competent, respectful and made sure that we were not disturbed as much as possible. This was really appreciated whilst we have young aged children. They also were very punctual and are hardworkers. The refurbishing job has proved to be very well executed. Ionel has always been patient waiting for our choices for the materials or finishing for the decoration. We also went abroad for holidays and he constantly kept us aware of the progress with photos. This was even greater when you are meant to be stress-free during a break. We would recommend Johny the Builder to anyone that would need a very good and very professional Building company. I highly recommend Paul. He painted a bedroom for me. Wall paper removed, walls were in a bad way he made good of the walls and then painted it for me. 10/10 I would recommend to friends and family and won't be using anyone else for painting going forward

I have dreaded writing this review but Terry's conduct and performance were absolutely terrible. Before he started, his communication was never great and I guess alarm bells should've rung then. A few hours into the job Terry said his pregnant girlfriend (who was not due for many months) had rang saying she was in labour. Of course I said he should immediately go. I never heard back from him and I messaged to check if she was ok. He said she was fine and it wasn't labour and they were back home but he never volunteered to come back the next day to finish. He had left the job half done with electrical sockets etc hanging off the wall! I contacted him the next day but he didn't pick up. Fast-forward several weeks and he still has not come back to do the work - and even worse hasn't contacted me. When I did finally message him weeks later he just replied that "when I am back at work I will come." Not giving any idea of how long that will be or an apology (despite knowing I have been hugely out of pocket by other tradesmen for having to cancel as he hasn't finished the job for weeks). I am a mother and I totally understand if his girlfriend is in labour he of course won't be able to message or do the work but this has gone on for many weeks (and as far as I know she still hasn't gone into labour) so I think it is terrible he has left a job half done, and not contacted me to give me any idea of when he will finish the work. I doubt he ever will!
