Eriken arrived on time, surveyed the garden, and then recommended a better solution to the one that I had in mind, namely using concrete fence posts to replace the old wood and metal ones, and he did so without putting any pressure on me at all. I thought it was a great idea as they would be much easier to maintain, and replacing future fence panels would be a matter of just sliding them in. We agreed on a fair price, and Eriken arrived promptly on the day with his colleagues, took down all of my old fence panels and fence posts, and fitted new concrete posts and new panels very professionally. He and his colleagues took away my old fence panels for disposal and cleared away any mess, and then he sent me pictures of the job as it was at one of my tenanted properties. I would definitely use Eriken again. Thank you, Eriken, for a professional job well done.

Hi, I have been working in my spare time doing my own building/ maintenance projects for the last 19 years now, whilst being the Headteacher at a school in North London. In 2004, I ended 17 years as a self employed,General builder, to retrain and work in education with Nursery children. That led me on into my Headteachers role. Now after 19 years I am returning to General building, I enjoy hard work, seeing peoples homes enhanced, watching peoples ideas become real for them. Working with people is a strong point for me, maintaining good working relationships with them is so important. I hired DS Developments to completely landscape my small front garden. This involved clearing and levelling the area; moving and re-securing a bike shed; laying a patio and lawn; and a number of finishing touches. The area went from somewhat of an embarrassing eye-sore to an area of pride. One that several neighbours have already made compliments about. David provided a professional service from start to finish. His quote was more than I expected, but his knowledge and vision gave me the confidence to select his services. He provided a selection of options and stuck to budget; adapted well to new ideas/suggestions; and informed in advance where the cost would be impacted. He and his team also were as tidy and considerate as possible and I highly recommend their services.

Mihai is excellent with plastering and carpentry. There were lots of awkward places that needed plastering after a renovation - where a wall had been removed, two different depths of plaster to be connected, ceiling, doorways, loft hatch, where tiles had been removed, plus architraves round them all.
