This builder provided a quote after visiting the site but when it came to doing the work he would ask for more. He was extremely difficult to understand as he cannot speak basic english. To renegotiate his cost her partner or daughter would translate his demands. I suggest anyone trying to employ this guy think again. I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole.

Dan came quickly to see the job and gave us a very reasonable quote. Started the work as scheduled and completed it before time- I am sure it would have taken someone else much longer to finish the job! EXCELLENT QUALITY OF WORK- thoroughly professional and top-notch. Cleaned up everything after work and left the place spick and span. Very polite, amiable, unobtrusive and efficient. VERY STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. In fact, we have hired Dan for another job starting tomorrow, because now we have seen his work and we are more than happy.

My colleague referred me to Raed who previously have had used R.Hamandi Ltd for construction work and they were very happy with the quality of service. Along with some other building company's last year I also contacted Raed for an estimate. Raed gave us a reasonable price with all the details of proposed work. He also explained about the possible options of how we could get the best value for our money. His professional and friendly advice helped us a lot to understand what exactly we needed and what was best for us to go ahead for our project. We decided to go ahead with R.Hamandi ltd. Raed gave us breakdown of the project and everything was documented. His support in communicating with council and planning related issues was valuable. All the planning permission requirements were followed. Presence of experienced and trust worthy staff including laborers, handymen, carpenters and painters really made it easy for me and family to be around and comfortable while they were working or to leave the house whenever we had to. Raed himself used to visit the site everyday to oversee the progress and used to discuss and take care of any possible issues. Raed's team used to turn up on time and the project was finished on time too. Even after the completion of the project staff at R.Hamandi ltd and Raed himself contacted us few times to find out if we're happy with the work carried out or if we needed any further assistance. Now we have a fully refurbed house with double side extension and loft conversion. Overall amazing service, professional, reliable and trustworthy. Greg recently completed a full bathroom renovation for us including replacement of all fixtures, new tiling, painting and finishing. We're very happy with the final result - Greg was punctual, diligent and had great communication throughout the project. On top of this, he's a lovely, pleasant guy. Will definitely hire Greg again for other jobs and recommend others to do the same.

Waldemar and team were very tidy and communicative builders who will do the job at a high standard, for a good price and are committed to meeting their realistic deadlines. I had a difficult ask of the team as had ordered most components prior to their quote but they worked around me, the items I had ordered and worked well to achieve a complex and specific design. They were reliable and dedicated to getting the job done in good time and to a high standard. They were attentive and considerate regarding specific design requirements but I would recommend the best way to handle this with them is to provide a detailed plan with measurements as communication is harder when not face to face. That being said, if they were unsure of any detail they were extremely good at being in touch to clarify exactly what you'd like done. Highly recommended!

I first started in college as a tiler in 2009, then went on to learn plastering the year after. I currently work full time as a reactive repairs plasterer on a maintenance contract and have done so since I started as an apprentice in 2010. I have also worked on void property's along the way where I learnt to do little bits of other trades. I have also took on jobs on my own like skimming whole properties which include the usual repairs to walls where needed to get them ready for skimming.

Troy was prompt, efficient, polite and friendly and did a fantastic job plastering our in-built wardrobe. He was great with communication beforehand and did a super job tidying up - leaving the room as he found it. Would highly recommend!

Advertised the job on Monday, Alfed was able to come the very next day, which was ideal. We just had a hole punched through a wall and a window inserted, so the work involved plasterboard and rendering/ plastering of the void to make a perfect inset window. The finished result is ready for painting. He arrived when he said he would, took care and attention and the work was finished to a very high standard. Alfred also cleaned up carefully after he'd finished. Couldn't recommend more highly. Very happy customer!

Mihai is excellent with plastering and carpentry. There were lots of awkward places that needed plastering after a renovation - where a wall had been removed, two different depths of plaster to be connected, ceiling, doorways, loft hatch, where tiles had been removed, plus architraves round them all. I needed someone very good and I found him. Perfect job. Thanks Mihai, John

Constantin was outstanding from start to finish. He responded quickly to my initial query, always arrived on time as promised (including on a Saturday to inspect the site because I work on week days), and gave a competitively-priced estimate and a clear plan of work. My plastering and painting job took 2 days as planned - Constantin and his co-worker carefully moved and covered the furniture, did the work, then returned everything back to where it was, then cleaned after them. During the two days, it became apparent that Constantin and his company have a wide range of skills, from painting and decorating to to plumbing, electrics, and a wide range of building work. He is pleasant and easy to talk to - a great discovery that will be on speed dial in my phone book for all sorts of small and large house projects in the future!
