Darren did an excellent job of skimming three ceilings. But the fourth he forgot and then did in a rush so it was bubbly and cracked and not straight at the edges. It has now all been painted, and the decorators thought the ceilings must be done by different people, becuase the living room and bedroom have the best skimming they've ever seen but the landing is the worst! He also spilled pink primer on various woodwork, and said it could be painted over, but turns out it can't. On the doors, the decorators tried to paint over the primer, but had to sand it down and start again; and it took a few extra coats on the beams. Darren failed to unscrew anything on the hall and landing ceilings (even though it turns out it would have been easy to do so) and so the lamp is full of pink primer which I can only partly scrape off, and they have broken the carbon monoxide alarm by filling the vents with pink primer, but also plastered it into the ceiling so it's hard to replace. Could do better!

Amazing work. Truly skilled. Karl did a great job after creating bespoke coving that matched the original in another room.and tacking a curved wall that no one was willing to touch. I am sitting here now again admiring his handy work - it looks amazing Karl was communative and also kept me up to date with progress Thank you Karl.

Hi I'm a general builder and I've been in the trade around 20 years working alongside another sole trader. We're normally busy working on our own house builds and renovations but we are currently available due to a lengthy planning appeal which we are waiting on. The house I currently live in which is a grade 2 listed barn conversion is a good example of our work where we completed the groundworks, blockwork, random stone, first fix joinery, roofline plastics, plastering and kitchen fitting.

The job was a kitchen extension including brickwork, steel installation, plastering and kitchen fitting. Eric picked up this job from our previous builder who was very unreliable. When he started the work we had a 3 month old baby and the weather was starting to turn. The previous builders had left us with a huge hole in the side of the house. Eric took over and made the extension wind and water tight very quickly. He worked around our young family and ensured we had a working kitchen for as long as possible. He was reliable, friendly and professional throughout. His attention to detail was excellent. Eric helped us every step of the way and offered considerate suggestions. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect; for example he re-grouted the tiles in our bathroom to stop a leak from the shower when the leak was not connected to any work he had done. Eric helped us create our dream kitchen and it was an absolute pleasure to have work with us.
