We would definitely recommend Ben Gardner. He did a really good job putting up a new partition wall between two bedrooms. We cannot fault his professional work ethics - the quote was done very quickly and he did everything he said that he would. He was very polite and we would use his services again without doubt.

Sean and his team did an excellent job overall. The few minor problems were quickly sorted and Sean's communication regarding the plan for the works and any adjustments to arrangements was very good. The attitude to the work and to us as the customer was always very cheerful and positive.

Duane, Plasterer from RAM Roofing has recently completed plastering walls and the ceiling in my kitchen; landing, bathroom and a ceiling in a bedroom. He did a fantastic job - scraping off and smoothing over Artex on ceilings, filling in and smoothing over hairline cracks and uneven surfaces, leaving a very smooth finish, ready for my painters. The overall effect is great and I'm very pleased. He is very professional and knowledgeable in his craft, with many years experience. He did the work very efficiently and did a good job tidying up afterwards. Duane is friendly and very easy to talk to and will do a great job. He was very attentive and careful of our rescue cat that I didn't want to go out the front door, checking every time that I knew where the cat was or that he was in. That deserved extra points from me! I would definitely recommend using him and I'll be employing him again in the very near future, to complete other plastering jobs in the house.

Aaron responded promptly to my job post and arranged to visit. He arrived exactly when he said he would and asked thorough questions about the work, and later emailed an estimate. In conversation, Aaron was clear that, while he was an experienced plasterer, and loved working with lime, he had never actually used the product I was specifying (Adaptavate Breathaplasta). This is a lime-based product using fine particles of bio-aggregate, making the plaster particularly breathable and able to deal with humidity. Aaron calculated that the work would take 6 days. In the event, it turned out he had to deal with a particularly complex aspect in squaring up, damp-proofing and insulating a tricky window wall, along side the actual plastering, and in addition to producing a very accurately-sized aperture for the window reveal, as requested in the brief. This was done with millimetre precision, but meant of course the work took longer (a labour time increase of 50%), but Aaron negotiated this clearly, and his communications were very good throughout. Plastering over different surfaces (hempcrete, cement rendered wall), Aaron produced a superb finish, unifying the appearance of the plastered walls. Overall, an excellent job.

I received a prompt response regarding a quote, which was reasonably priced. Initially, the plastering appeared to be of good quality; however, upon beginning the decorating process, I noticed numerous imperfections. The walls and ceilings had an uneven finish, rendering the work a disappointing investment of over £1,000. Now, I find myself needing to hire another contractor to redo the job. I feel quite disheartened, especially since their reviews were favorable and their Facebook photos showcased impressive results.

Arrived first thing in the morning at the agreed time to remove the cavity wall insulation. Worked hard all day and kept me updated with their progress. Allowed me to view the camera pictures at regular intervals to reassure me that everything had been removed. Thoroughly cleaned up after the job was done. Left at 4.00 pm. Very pleased.

Glyn and Martin did such a fantastic job on our kitchen. They removed a load bearing wall in our terraced cottage, and a second exterior load bearing wall to make way for glass doors across the back. This job needed 3 large steels, and as our house is set back from the road behind another row of houses, it has very tricky access and the steels were a very tight fit and hard to maneovre, which frightened off all the other builders we had to look at the job! They did a fantastic job! They're quick, helpful, hard working, smart and fun to have around. Glyn was available 24/7 for all my questions and had brilliant ideas. They're the best builders we've ever used, and we've used ALOT. I would 100% use them again! They impressed me and my husband from day one when Glyn came for an initial consultation and he took his shoes off and stayed for two hours! They came in bang on budget, no fuss or extras, didn't ask for any payments up front (apart from to buy the steels). They recommended a good structural engineer too. Thank you guys!
