Dave is a very professional and pleasant to deal with. Came out and quoted for the job very quickly and was able to work around my timescales for the job. Totally transformed my grubby old downstairs WC/utility into a beautiful little space. Shame I can’t post before and after pictures as my words cannot give credit to its transformation. Very pleased with the job and would definitely use Dave again for other jobs and I have a long list.... !!

Price,work and date agreed. - Never called or showed up. I called twice to confirm on the morning work was to start, only to be given a story about taking a car for service, then let down twice again. I spent 4 very hard day's packing and sweating to prepare for this job (and I'm physically disabled). DO NOT TRUST THIS TIME WASTER...!!!

The Job was to prepare and paint the front and rear of my property. This included a lot of preparation work as the building is a listed property with old Sash style windows. I approached several companies and also asked around locally as I was relatively new to the area and choose D&J as they were recommended repeatedly by several people. I arranged for D&J to come round and give a quotation for the work and also to ask for advice on how to best to approach the job as the previous occupants of the house had allowed the windows to deteriorate considerable. From the moment they arrived until completion of the job they were thoroughly professional, nothing appeared too much trouble and despite several previous contractors quoting silly figures D&J provided a sensible quotation and a truly superb job that was completed on time and exactly as promised. They even arranged to come back a couple of weeks later to repaint one window again free of charge as they didn’t feel happy with the original finish even though I personally could see nothing wrong with it. Extremely happy and would recommend to anyone without hesitation…

Paul was fantastic. He was professional, helpful and patient. Paul painted my hall and passage. I now have a lighter and brighter space that feels more welcoming and is a delight to look at. Paul arrived first thing in the morning and put a full day’s work in. He did what he said he would do and cleaned up beautifully after he was finished. I am very happy with the job he completed for me . I would definitely recommend and use him again. I love my hall and passage again

We were very pleased with the work Rachel did painting several places in our home (tricky areas and glossing). She was very careful with covering up surfaces and cleaning and tidying afterwards. The finish she achieved was excellent. She was very professional and worked hard to complete a number of jobs in a short time frame. We were very pleased and have already asked her back for some other work. Highly recommended.

I had asked for my whole flat to be decorated and was given a Quote which I thought was fair, but it started late than my original date. The Decorator started on Monday 24/08/2020 from 8am to 1pm then Tuesday 25/08/2020 from 8am to 5pm, the Decorator only worked these hours for 2 days and then stopped. The room was not prepared for either painting or wallpapering, I had asked for the undercoat paint to go on first then for the Gloss paint to go on before Wallpaper but as a Customer was ignored then finally was charged £225 which I felt was over priced. I would not hire this person again nor will I use Mybuilder.com in any venture again. It’s a pity I cannot show photos I’ve actually taken myself on this Feedback section of my builder so that viewers can actually make up there own minds.

Job was to decorate the main bedroom & Living Room. Living room was prepped & painted, with one feature wall. Doors and all wood work painted and finished to the highest standard. Main Bedroom which is a big room with an arch was also painted to the highest standard, this also had a feature wall papered. The standard of work was extremely high, everything always kept clean and organised. I was not only pleased with the standard of work but also with the way the work was carried out, with as little stress and inconvenience to myslef and my family as possible. I would lhighly recommend this company and deffanitely use them again.

Absolutely shocking workmanship, hired this man for my poorly mother who needed her granddaughters room decorated for when she stayed over, with pictures he sent me we’re he looked like he knew how to decorate I said yes he’s price was decent so I thought why not. He arrived at 8 then left at 1 and went on a 3 hour break returned at 4 and stayed till 6 decorating no we’re near finished even though 2 of them arrived. The paper is absolutely terrible overlapping raggedy edges ripped in places hand prints all over the paper, coffee and tea stains all over window sill on freshly painted surfaces, txt at 3:30am this morn to say he would return at noon to continue I told him not to bother once inspected the room myself. Its awful my mom is so distressed and upset it’s all got to come back off and buy new paper. I’ve had no apology at all or compensation for the damages caused. I suggest people do there research in future as I wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone else. see pics. Scammer!!!!
