I hired Tim for a big job to replace a damaged bathroom floor due to a leak. The damaged expanded to outside the bathroom and was quite involved. Tim did an amazing job, not only did he sort out the problem but he found clever solutions which other builders did not think of. Tim is reliable, honest and always ready to help. Would use again 100%.

Adam Favor and NOVA Design & Build are a nice bunch of guys and they are reliable/helpful. However, when it came to coving, architrave and flooring, acceptable standards were unfortunately not met. Other specialists had to be brought in to re-do around 20% of the job; namely certain sections of the cornice and door architrave. In the former, a few things were below standard including: 1) not joining the friezes in the correct places, 2) cutting inaccurately, 3) leaving gaps, 4) using silicon as a filler and adhesive. For the door architrave, the wood was misaligned and not glued/nailed properly. The flooring was not laid well because there are huge gaps at times; sometimes at 1 cm. Since the kitchen has been installed, it is too late to take up the floorboards again. The most dubious thing of all in this job was the quote received for decorating which was c. 15k for 47 m2. This included plastering repairs, but ultimately the job got done by someone else to a high standard at 7k.

We had a great experience with Yasin Seven and his team. They provided great communication from the start, were able to come by and discuss our decorating needs in person, and were then flexible with the date, as part of the job was outside and therefore weather dependent. The jobs involved repair, plaster, and paint, both inside and outside, and they gave excellent advice as to the best realistic solutions. They completed the work in a timely manner and it looks fantastic. I highly recommend Yasin Seven and his team!

Our new house required a complete renovation, a very big project. We invited 6 or 7 tradesmen sourced from MyBuilder to give their estimates for the works and also to gage their professionalism, experience and reliability. Vasile really stood out because he is straight talking with a no-nonsense approach and the breadth of his experience really comes across. It can be daunting selecting a tradesman to undertake any job in your house, especially one of our magnitude but we're so pleased we chose Vasile and his team! The job included stripping wallpaper from almost every room in the house and making the walls good for painting, skimming and painting artex ceilings, two bathroom refits, one cloakroom refit, laying real wood flooring and porcelain tiles and fitting new internal doors in every room of the house. Vasile is a perfectionist and was eager to ensure that all work was completed to a high and professional standard. Vasile kept us informed of their progress throughout the project and also gave good advice when unexpected issues arose. He is trustworthy and reliable, works very hard to get the job done and always answered our very many calls and messages! He was very easy to work with, and we can't recommend him enough!

Very pleased with our choice. We initially got four quotes from different builders, most of them were terrible at communicating apart from Alfred. He was very easy to work with, responsive and very careful with our brand new house. His team was hard working, tidy and fast. They completely renovated our garden from removal of old decking and gravel to setting up new fences, levelling and turfing the ground. They also removed our old kitchen, partition wall and carpet, as well as did jobs like plastering, building a wall and set up lights and shelves. We’ll surely have him back soon to work on other jobs.
