Our house refurbishment was managed by Andy. He was extremely polite, patient and attentive. He was a pleasure to work with and took away a lot of the stress. His communication throughout the project was top notch. Andy and his team came up with a wealth of experience and was full of ideas to solve problems in what was not a straightforward job. The quality and attention to detail of his carpenters, plumbers and plasterers was excellent. We were very happy with the work carried out. When we had snags or issues Andy and his team ensured that they were fixed. We are very grateful for his hard work and would recommend him for similar projects.

Lukasz was nice and prompt, but unfortunately, he was not able to hang out wallpaper in a satisfactory manner. Even after he came back to fix some initial issues and tears in the paper, as well as spaces where you could see the wall between the wallpaper drops (to his credit, he attempted the repairs on his own dime), there are still visible lines where the wallpaper joins and it does not look remotely like what we expected from a premium wallpaper installer—we went with Lukasz's higher price tag because he said he had worked with this kind of paper (Cole & Sons) before. Unfortunately, we will now likely have to buy all new wallpaper and have another decorator start the job over, costing us over £3k in damages.

We have been working with Derek Borkiewicz (Sebek Construction) on a renovation of a garden flat in Little Venice since last autumn. We needed to completely restore the whole flat, including the garden. This was our second renovation project and by this time we knew what we wanted to do, which mistakes to avoid and what to pretend from a qualified builder. We will never stop saying how lucky we have been to find Derek and his team! Derek is not only a professional builder who is very careful to the smallest of the details. He is not only a very good project manager who is constantly checking the work of his men. Derek is a friend who takes on board a project like it is his own project. He suggested the most convenient and best solutions for any problem we came across during the works. There wasn’t a time when he didn’t know what to do to solve a difficult situation (and there are lots of small and big issues coming up in a renovation work) no matter how complicate they were and how long it took to solve them. His availability and his courtesy are incredible above all in a fast running city like London. This is priceless to us. His hard work can be seen in the wonderful result we reached with this garden flat. If we ever decide to work on another project we won’t think twice about working with Derek once again. Alex and his team were amazing workers - worked late into the night on several occasions and always left everything so tidy They are all so skilled - they can do anything u need done - anything - brilliant all rounders The spraying of the kitchen is unbelievable it's like a brand new kitchen They also tiled for us and put up a new hood, installed a new worktop and put a new sink in - anything u need doing they can do and nothing is ever too much trouble for them In all the years we've been using tradesmen ( and we've done up several properties) they were the best, most hardworking, reliable, dedicated tradesmen I would recommend them to anyone We are so glad we found them as we will be using them for every job we need doing round the house Amazing!!!!

Chris came for two whole days and only managed to paint the walls and ceiling of a medium sized bedroom. No skirting, no window, no doorframe, meaning that I had to finish the job myself. I much prefer giving positive reviews on Mybuilder but unfortunately, I can’t recommend Chris to you. My advice is to find someone else.
