This was a fairly complex painting job involving lime render in very poor condition. The render was cracked and had been badly painted by the householder. There were significant access issues to a high gable wall. Franco decor did a professional job. Old paint was removed, cracks filled in a multi-stage process, and finished very neatly with two coats of owner-specified paint. The tradesmen clearly have a very sound knowledge of their trade, built up over previous years of experience. Sound advice was offered during the quotation process. All charges were made very clear and choices were offered. We are pleased with the finished job and we have asked Franco Decor to quote for additional work on our property. Total restoration of a double fronted Georgian house listed Grade two star in Bury St Edmund's. The top two floors had not been occupied since 1953. All work was overseen by English heritage, refurbishment cost was approximately 200k. Chris was quite new in the construction trade but proved quick to learn the various tasks asked of him. He was reliable, honest and hard working and could work unsupervised, if he's been working in the construction/maintenance industry since then I consider himl able to undertake the position applied for.

I'm not one to ever leave a negative review but after contacting Jack directly, he has ignored us and refused to get back to us to resolve this issue. We hired Jack to fit new vinyl flooring in our kitchen and bathroom. We trusted him and had to be out all day so left the cash for him. We wouldn't have paid him the full amount if we had been there to see the poor job that was executed. There are gaps, wonky lines, uneven areas and rips. Jack also left the bathroom unfinished as he forgot his silicone gun but gave us his word that he would do this after his holiday, this was week's ago and we've heard nothing. I contacted him via my builder to explain our concerns and my husband has contacted him directly but he's not getting back to us. We could barely afford this and now we're going to have to spend it again getting it redone. I will be taking it further but as he insisted we pay in cash we'll probably never see our money again. Do not trust this company or waste your money!

I can create effects and textures with paint, colour stain and finish wood. I also paint murals as well as experience with restoring furniture.
