Ross has excited expectations in conducting the job I hired him for. The job consisted in locating and eliminating a bathroom smell, and he contacted the job successfully and at really affordable rates. The communication from the offset was timely, concise and clear. He visited my property once and tackled the issue, offering to come back free of charge in case the issue would persist. After his first intervention the smell nearly went away, but came back after a few days, way less prominently than originally. As promised, Ross came back free of charge and tried another solution, which solved the problem entirely. Throughout, I was impressed by his professionalism and efficiency. Highly recommended!

Adam Favor and NOVA Design & Build are a nice bunch of guys and they are reliable/helpful. However, when it came to coving, architrave and flooring, acceptable standards were unfortunately not met. Other specialists had to be brought in to re-do around 20% of the job; namely certain sections of the cornice and door architrave. In the former, a few things were below standard including: 1) not joining the friezes in the correct places, 2) cutting inaccurately, 3) leaving gaps, 4) using silicon as a filler and adhesive. For the door architrave, the wood was misaligned and not glued/nailed properly. The flooring was not laid well because there are huge gaps at times; sometimes at 1 cm. Since the kitchen has been installed, it is too late to take up the floorboards again. The most dubious thing of all in this job was the quote received for decorating which was c. 15k for 47 m2. This included plastering repairs, but ultimately the job got done by someone else to a high standard at 7k.

Our initial dealings with George were very positive, he was very communicative and gave us advice on what would work better and for longer term. This was one of the main reasons we decided to go with him. He initially said the work would take 5 days unfortunately it ended up taking a couple extra days. In general the work was done well however unfortunately I am unable to give him a high rating for the following reasons: - They were incredibly messy- plaster splattered everywhere- radiators, floor, skirting boards and across windows- leaving a lot of cleaning for us to do - We need to have one of our walls completely redone as they plastered over wallpaper (although George tested this wall). - We have contacted George several times to come and fix some other minor defects, he has been near impossible to reach. When we eventually were able to reach him and agreed a date and time- he didn’t show up. Therefore unfortunately what started off as a good and positive experience has sadly turned sour and it is with regret we have to post a negative review.

I refurbished 3 bathrooms in my house, Alex and his team were amazing. They done such a good job, they know what they are doing. No messing around, they will give you a time frame of the job and also won’t take on any other jobs like other builders. Always came to work and left on time. They will always suggest you on what will be good and what is not good for the project. I defo will be using these guys for any other projects in my house. William and his team did a great job of redecorating our 4 bed period property inside and out. William gave a detailed quote which enabled us to select or deselect some items and know the relevant cost. There were some minor snags that required extra plastering and repointing all handled with ease and no fuss. The communications were good and the team were hard working and courteous. I would not hesitate to use William again.
