Painting & Decorating- 9 Apr 2022
The Emanuel and Alin plastered my ceiling and repainted my 1 bed property. They were extremely quick and efficient with their painting, however, I had to highlight lots of areas around the property where wall paint was wobbly alongside woodwork. They did clear that all up after I raised it but they were willing to call the job 'finished' until I pointed it all out. I have, also spent a fair amount of time cleaning paint off of light fixtures and window frames etc that they either didn't mask prroperly or just managed to drip paint onto. My kitchen cupboards were unfortunately left in an absolute state at the top of them as they were completely covered in plaster, it clearly wasn't covered whatsoever. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until after the work was finished and they had left; I was cleaning excess dust, as is expected after plastering, and was horrified when I saw the tops of the cupboards. The pair refused to come back and clear it up which was exceptionally frustrating but were willing to reduce the price invoiced by what was the equivalent of one days work for the inconvenience of me having to clean it myself. In general efficiency was their strength but attention to detail and cleaning up after themselves wasn't. If you want to quickly revamp a room or two with some fresh paint then I'd definitely make sure to do a run through the property with them once they've said they're finished to make sure you're happy with it and they clean up any snags you find.

Perfect. Joseph works hard and is meticulous. His work is detail perfect and he shares his thoughts and ideas to improve what he can do for you. He is helpful and a genuinely good person. He respected my home as just that, somewhere I live and regard as important. I already have other jobs lined up for Joseph when he has the time to complete them and have already recommended him to two friends. I am extremely pleased that he moved out of London to this area! His pricing is fair and competitive and the two rooms he redecorated look ‘brand new’ totally refreshed, as asked for.

Very poor communication. After taking money you wont hear from him again. Adviced after cellings will dry out call him if there any issues. Unfortunately never showed up again, no answer. I am not satisfaction with results and very disappointed for letting me down to finish work completely. Not recommending him to anyone.

Plastering- 13 Jan 2023
Got Tristan in to do a small area of render on my investment property for £150, he did a great job! I got on with him well and discovered he and his bother were new to mybuilder, but had a lot of experience as builders mainly carpentry and plastering. My project needed a vast amount of plasterboarding / plaster skimming & patching up & lots of carpentry. £15,000 later and I can’t thank the boys enough. They have demonstrated hard work, good value for money on their quote, and the finish was a massive relief, stunning!!! Last of all, trust and integrity!!!! You get a feeling after meeting people what they are about and I think I felt trust and they demonstrated integrity throughout. Thanks! All the best moving forward….. Benjamin Sanders
