We hired this company to paint the exterior of our house for an agreed sum of £2000. After a couple of start date changes, they arrived on 30/05/2021 to start the work. We heard nothing from them on the next day or the day after. Meanwhile we noticed that they had demolished a very expensive 30 year old decorative jasmine hedge surrounding a large bay window at the front of the property. Upon complaining they completely denied that they caused it and that we were overreacting about a silly bush. Our gardeners did some emergency repair next day but will need replanting and supporting. At the same time we pointed out some bubbling of the paintwork. At this point we were told that in that case we should buy new doors; he actually said to my husband that he is 75 and can’t make him look 20!! Following this there was a complete breakdown of communication and they didn’t return to finish the job or clean up. We have been sent an invoice for £800 for one day’s work. We offered £500 and that we will pay the gardeners to replant and repair the hedge and they can keep all the leftover materials. Following this we received two very confrontational and accusatory emails although they did accept our offer. Due to this attitude we are holding back the payment although we have every intention to settle in order to avoid any more aggravation. At no point did they accept responsibility or apologise for the damage because that is all we wanted. Their behaviour was totally unprofessional.

We appointed HWB to carry out a full refurbishment on our house, this involved re-gutting the interior and building an extension and loft conversion plus some landscaping in the garden. We spoke to many builders but finally appointed HWB based on their previous projects and professionalism. Appointing builders for any work is always difficult however we are delighted that we went with HWB. Throughout the project they have demonstrated high levels of professionalism, were very organised and worked to very high standards. They were collaborative throughout the whole project and kept us informed at every stage. As the project developed there were some changes made and HWB were flexible and open to new instructions made by us, as well as giving us valuable advice. Farag, Ayoub and the HWB team were always available to answer any questions and provided us with constant feedback on progress as well as identify new solutions to aid the development. They have a great team of workers who work to a high standard and are supervised throughout the project. We made the right decision going with HWB Construction and have no hesitation in recommending them.

He was very polite, punctual and trustworthy I had no problem leaving him in my house alone while I walked the dog or popped to the shops etc. His work was very good and professional. He worked very clean and tidy and respectfully. I am very happy and pleased with the tiling job he did for me and I would definitely recommend The Right Man and will 100% be using him again.

Denis did a good job plastering and retiling a small area of my kitchen. He responded to my ad promtly, came round the next day to quote and carried out the work 2 days later as requested. He’s a very hard-working man, punctual, does not waste time, efficient, and always on time. His work is very nice and very tidy. He leaves the site very clean. Along with Patrick, they did the foundation for a house extension, all of the brickwork, the concrete subfloor, and the whole patio involving tiling heavy flags. Iljaz and his Team were brilliant! I was slightly concerned having no reviews. They found the leak, fixed it and patched up the wall in very tidy and professional manner. He did say he wouldn't be able to come today and updated me, however he made time to come in-between his day to sort out my issue. Not many true trades people like this and very honest and stuck to his word. I would definitely recommend him and would not hesitate to use his team again. Thank Iljaz!
