I genuinely cannot praise Tomas too much. An excellent job done with exemplary care and attention to detail. what was even better was the little extras - cleaning , not just tidying and of his own initiative touching up some wood work ( not in the job spec but just being helpful an caring). The best tradesman i have dealt with in so long. I will be recommending him to my friends and neighbours and i will be using Tomas again

I cannot recommend this carpenter highly enough! He recently came to our property and delivered truly outstanding work. Martin was absolutely a gem. He took on a job from another con-artist so called decorater who destroyed £5,000 Zoffany Wallpaper, wrong paste & blunt Stanley-knife.Interior-Decorater JL Did not reimburse because Decorater at fault! I was distressed, First time ever used My-Builder Wonderful experience happy to say all 5-quotes and workmen happy to attend to give quotes I went with the middle, aswell Martin’s passion of knowledge with wallpaper. Happy to say his our future decorator with Wallpaper. Our daughter already has passed his details to her friends. My husband wants us to give Martin & Michael 100% excellent review for work and value for money. Martin kept to time, date, tidying up everything after leaving with care & considering it’s his own home delicate and respect.

I had a lot of issues with this project. Some shoddy workmanship, poor communication, turned up over 2 hours late on one day, and was negligent with the radiator. Would not recommend.

Adam Favor and NOVA Design & Build are a nice bunch of guys and they are reliable/helpful. However, when it came to coving, architrave and flooring, acceptable standards were unfortunately not met. Other specialists had to be brought in to re-do around 20% of the job; namely certain sections of the cornice and door architrave. In the former, a few things were below standard including: 1) not joining the friezes in the correct places, 2) cutting inaccurately, 3) leaving gaps, 4) using silicon as a filler and adhesive. For the door architrave, the wood was misaligned and not glued/nailed properly. The flooring was not laid well because there are huge gaps at times; sometimes at 1 cm. Since the kitchen has been installed, it is too late to take up the floorboards again. The most dubious thing of all in this job was the quote received for decorating which was c. 15k for 47 m2. This included plastering repairs, but ultimately the job got done by someone else to a high standard at 7k.
