Steve painted our hall, landing and stairs that had not been decorated in decades. The walls were dark burgundy below a wallpaper freize and the woodwork a dark walnut. I had chosen white for the walls and woodwork. Removing the wallpaper was a nightmare as it left a sticky residue. In addition part of the artex ceiling has come unstuck and was ballooning. Unfazed, Steve filled and sanded the strip on each wall and fixed the ceiling. The end result exceeded my expectations: the walls look as though they have been freshly plastered and the problem ceiling fixed. Everything is bright and white - an excellent job. Steve is a good time-keeper, cleans up after the job and works hard. I highly recommend Steve for his skill, lovely nature and attention to detail. I would certainly use him again.
