I choose Martins company to do the building work in my home after much consideration and research. I had my bathroom fully converted into a wet room, my living room and dining room were re-plastered and decorated, I also had all internal doors fitted, all of this work was finished to a very high standard in an amazing space of time. Ash went above & beyond what was expected today. I will keep his number for future jobs & I will only ever get him to put my furniture together. I will never attempt to do things myself again. I asked him to put a wardrobe together for me that my daughter had managed to break & he did an excellent job. Not only did he do that job for me he also put my daughters bed back together that I dismantled to make room for him to do the wardrobe. Fantastic service & fantastic customer service. Not every job is straight forward and it was the same with this one which Costel and Marian managed to do there best an got it to a goo state. Przemek responded to my add and was able to quote for the work that day. He was on site with a colleague at 8am the next day. He carried out a thorough and meticulous stripping of all the walls. He brought all the correct equipment (spray, steamer, ladders, tools). He left my house looking cleaner than when he arrived. I've already asked him to quote on more work. Would highly recommend!

Alvis painted the front of our house, windows frames, front wall and path. The walls and window frames needed a lot of preparation, cracks filling and wood replaced and this was done to a high standard. The window frames look like new. Alvis is hardworking and did an excellent job and even painted the drain pipes and filled in a small hole in the soffit board. Happy to recommend Alvis and thank you for a good job.

Adam Favor and NOVA Design & Build are a nice bunch of guys and they are reliable/helpful. However, when it came to coving, architrave and flooring, acceptable standards were unfortunately not met. Other specialists had to be brought in to re-do around 20% of the job; namely certain sections of the cornice and door architrave. In the former, a few things were below standard including: 1) not joining the friezes in the correct places, 2) cutting inaccurately, 3) leaving gaps, 4) using silicon as a filler and adhesive. For the door architrave, the wood was misaligned and not glued/nailed properly. The flooring was not laid well because there are huge gaps at times; sometimes at 1 cm. Since the kitchen has been installed, it is too late to take up the floorboards again. The most dubious thing of all in this job was the quote received for decorating which was c. 15k for 47 m2. This included plastering repairs, but ultimately the job got done by someone else to a high standard at 7k.
