Hi, I’m a 37 year old painter. trained at 16 by a ‘decorator of the year’ on historic and listed buildings around the midlands. After working as a decorator in the UK for many years I moved to Australia and luckily fell into a prestigious decorating company in Melbourne where I used my previous experience but also learned to spray. Since moving back in 2016 I’ve worked for myself on site or in my spray booth. I achieve the highest level of finish on old or new buildings. I can eliminate the need for plasterers using modern roll on and spray plasters and sometimes joiners by using repair care to fix rotten wood with resin. I’m fully competent in all aspects of painting and wood finishing from staining/lacquering to high gloss finishes. On site I can spray walls/ceilings and woodwork or use more traditional methods.
