I am The DIY Lady. Having renovated an 8 bedroom Victorian house into a bed and breakfast hotel, I decided to make a business out of doing something that I love. I am able to install coving and laminate floors and paint to a good standard of workmanship. I am also proficient at replacing skirtings and architraves as well as adding those final touches such as mounting TV’s, putting up shelving and constructing flat packed furniture, giving an all round service. I am not qualified or proficient at electrics and lighting, plumbing or bathroom installations or building and plastering and I will not touch them. That is for your safety as well as mine. I am in the Nottingham area and have my own transport and am willing to travel up to 45 minutes each way. I am hardworking and reliable and dedicated to bringing your ideas to life. Let’s transform spaces together!

Would definitely recommend BONS. We are really happy with the work they have done in our loft. Relocation and new hatch, pull down ladder, light fitting and raised boarding. They are very polite and respectful of your home. They protect the workspace and I didn’t have any dust lingering around during and after completion. The quality of work is of very high standards. Received a quote a few hours after they came out and started the work a few days later. Will definitely keep them in mind for future work.

Magdalena is a true professional who takes a huge pride in her work. She works extremely hard and delivers wonderful results. She works entirely alone which is remarkable given the demands of interior decorating. She transformed our two bedrooms and brilliantly repaired some dodgy paintwork in the kitchen. I heartily recommend Magdalena, who is quite possibly the BEST (also thecleanest !) tradesperson I have ever employed. Personally, I would never employ anyone else !
