See images. Pros: Quickly organised, the rendering is generally good. Quote/Invoicing is clear Did not do small awkward area above the door or windows, when queried said this was because the render would project out farther than the window. The render everywhere projects past the level of the window. Goal was to weatherproof. water is now effectively directed into the top of the windows/door. Left a mess, including damage to paint work, said they'd come and clean it up. never did. " it was raining. he was in a rush" I think if it had been I'll have a go handyman. I wouldn't have minded but for a £1000 for two days labour I expected a bit more. I'd again hire with close supervision, they do know their trade just got the impression they couldn't be bothered on this occasion.

Marcin was absolutely great. He came back at no extra charge when I didn't have enough wallpaper - even though I should have thought of buying some more! And he also helped by putting 2 shelves up. After being quoted a similar cost from a few different decorators we chose Adam as he had his schedule free for our required dates and had come to assess the room and explain all steps required to complete the job. Overall the main walls were well finished. Old paper stripped, any damage repaired, walls re lined and painted in the coloring of our choice. Some small blemishes and debris trapped under the paper but not really noticeable unless closely examining the walls. The finishing details however needed attention. The white skirting board has a lot of fine paint splatter from the wall color and there were smears of paint as well . Any cutting in where the color met the white could have been much cleaner if the correct time and preparation had been taken. Adam was friendly, trustworthy and showed up early each day to carry out the work. He was professional and offered to come back and rectify the issues as best as possible. In the future more attention to detail should be taken

I have been sitting on this for over 30 years , have done it on a few jobs over the years. Artex is a pain to remove , not nice too look at and could contain asbestos pre 1982 not the best idea too plaster over.No sanding, no plastering over, no steamer, no chemicals, no xtex and no harmful dust.Can offer to test for asbestos.

David provided me with a complete price for a plaster skim on the ceilings and walls downstairs and the wall running upstairs. I was expecting to pay much more and very surprised by a very modest price indeed. As soon as he contacted me with some dates I got back to him straight away as I want the work done as soon as possible and at that price is just amazing!
