Shiv builders did the tiling for my bathroom. The quote was easy and done via a WhatsApp video. Price was reasonable. The job turned out to be more challenging than we first thought with uneven walls and floorboards were quite worn however they found solutions easily. The team arrived on time and did an excellent job. Always left the place tidy and very polite and professional. I then had a few additional jobs round the house such as changing door handles and fitting light pendants which they happily accommodated and again did a good job. Will definitely be using them for future work.

This was a challenging relationship. I have left it some time before leaving feedback as I wanted to reflect and ensure that it was balanced. There were a number of exchanges before the job was done and this revolved mainly on the degree of prep that would be done. I wanted to make sure that everything would be properly prepped and sanded. There were staffing issues on the day and the job was rescheduled. There were staffing issues on the second arranged day but they did attend although delayed. The job was done, ran over and wrong paint colour used.Finish not good - not properly prepped. Was told I would have to pay extra for this... Had to be redone with more prep and in correct colour. I did not pay extra. Did not finish painting room and I declined to have them back to finish. Refused to offer a warranty on the work unless I paid for one. The finish on the kitchen units was fine. I finished painting the kitchen myself as didn't want further disruption. Job may not have run over had staff not disappeared off for food and cigarettes and spend so long on their mobiles. Neighbours complained at the bad language used and the fag ends left around. I have not given negative rating as the units are still in good shape and I am happy with them. We got there in the end but the journey was not a pleasant one.
