On 14th January Patrick Ward gave a quote to repair chimney £400 I advise Patrick please take before and after pictures of the work he and his builder said he completed the without before and after pictures becuase of safety reason of chimney being high I advised him I wish he let me know before he started the work. I wanted an invoice stating the warranty however I realised quality building is not a registered company with no insurance and Patrick advised he is a sole trader because I needed that guarantee. Decided to pay Patrick £400 out of good will Within a week there was a leak coming from same location Patrick Inspected the property again and advised it will cost over 3k to get rid of the leak he offered to subtract the £400 of the bill however I was advised to look for another builder contacted Patrick he promissed a refund a couple weeks later started avoiding my calls and messages over £400. JUST BE MINDFULL QUALITY MARK IS NOT A REGISTED COMPANY HAS NO INSURANCE.

Quite literally the worst tradesman I have ever worked within 25 years as a property developer! He came and quoted to paint my house (a good price I must say), little did I know that this meant he would spray everything that he can see, not prepare the surfaces by sanding them down or protects things. This included door handles, hinges, radiators, alarms sensors, tiles and my own furniture and cooking utensils. First time I confronted him about this he said that we would clean everything, and we agreed to carry own. However, it became apparent that we was doing the same as previously discussed. have paid hi 66% of what was agreed, I quickly realised that the damaged he has caused was going to cost me far more and I told him to leave. The next day he turned up at my house with his wife demanding the balance which I refused to give him, they were both shouting outside my house, threatening to call the police. I eventually agreed to pay the 50% of what was left, just so that they would leave. However, even once he had confirmed writing his acceptance of this, he walks over to me and threatened me one final time, saying that he will take me to court etc, there is god and he will see to me! I advise to stay away from this person, better to pay a little more and work with professionals who don't agree with one thing and do another. He paints using a spray, which means you can not touch anything up and he quite literally paints everything he sees!!

At the outset, Harry and his partner are good people. However, the job was not completed to a professional standard. Grout has started coming off from between the tiles leaving gaps that water can pass through, the door hinge was not properly fitted leaving a door that will not close, the radiator pipe clips were not fitted, tile trims are not flush with rest of the wall, shelves were fitted on top of old broken wood. And the worst part is that Harry did not turn up even after confirming a date to come back and fix the missing parts. I paid him extra for all the additional jobs, even though certain items from the contract were not done ( for e.g. replacing the bathtub panel ). They have multiple jobs ongoing at the same time and struggles to stick to schedule. If you get them I would advise not paying everything upfront and making sure contract is signed only after it is made sure that they would stick to schedule. I struggled to get them to commit to a date and stick to it.
