Ok- my experience was not a pleasant one. It was clear the guys were very busy with other work and didn't have enough time. The quality work of the work was really poor. I had to sand down the filler on the wall myself. Disappointed!

Rick (sometimes plus Stuart) is a talented builder who works to a good standard. Can tackle wide range of work. Both guys pleasant to deal with. During early part of work, they discovered major problem (breach to damp course). Originally planned work was adapted & adjusted. They undertook quite extensive damp proofing work. As far as I can determine, done carefully, thoroughly, professionally. I added additional idea/solution using thermal wallpaper. All this meant that in the end, this was no low cost upgrade to just one room. I have ended up with main bedroom with much work done: damp proofing; re-plastering to two external walls; thermal wallpaper, cross lined; two new ventilation outlets; new vinyl click plank flooring with underlay; new light fitting & skirting; damp sealed layer to ceiling; walls, ceiling, skirting all repainted. 3 nearby doors adjusted as well. I can recommend Brights Property Maintenance. This aims to be a balanced review, so I will also add that, from the very start, floor protection should have been laid to every area of the property where the builders walked & worked. Also, much better care, awareness, sensitivity to mess caused to rest of client’s property. Lastly, as the job specification changed, updated invoices should have been issued to record all changes, and possibly receipts for materials passed to client or careful list of purchases made. We ended with some dispute at the end over cost, which did spoil things between us.

My job experiences an history ranges from small plumbing repair new install works for landlords, tenants and Estate agents, to Private Clients wanting me to 1st, 2nd to 3rd fixing new plumbing installations of baths, sinks luxury taps relocations of plumbing works etc. I am very trustworthy, reliable, honest tradesman as i like to give myself a good name. I am fully vetted with a clean record for peace of mind. I started Plumbing since i was 22, i am very good at my job, i also specialise in Painting also and we take of Cleaning duties also. I complete my jobs very honestly and keeping disruptions to a minimum as i am very mindful of my working environment. I’m experienced working in all sorts of buildings such as work offices, Coumcil properties Schools, Prisons, Hospitals to different sized houses. I work in a very clean and efficient manner, if i damage anything i ofcourse hold my hands i wear shoe coverings when entering buildings, if property keys are given to me for jobs i still knock on doors before entering just in case anyone is home.

I posted the job and invited Constantine for a quote and received almost an immediate response for inspection. Constantine was very professional on his first visit and carefully listened to all my needs and suggested his ideas too. His team were always punctual and provided an immediate update about any issues/suggestions. I would recommend 5 stars for his communication as he was always available to check anything while purchasing or to check the feasibility of particular styles. Constantine & his team were very accommodating to all my suggestions and even some changes after fitting and bought all the building materials by himself providing proper bills. Since work was done while living, Constantine made sure the bathroom is done with at most priority and even made sure to get the bath ready first so that we could use it while other works are carried out. Constantine even suggested to take notes and provide him with the changes or issues I find towards completion and he did all of them without any issue. The team went beyond when it came to my waste disposal as we need to get it loaded by hand into his van and take it to recycle plant and again unload them which was a very tedious task done without any hesitation or quibble. Once the work is done, the house looks amazing and I would certainly rate 5 stars for workmanship and quality. I would definitely recommend Constantine and his team as they are professional, sincere and dedicated to doing their best.
