My background is as a Civil Engineer for over 40 years. I am now semi retired and looking to keep busy. Therefore now working as a handy man no job too small, fixing, fitting out, and making garden furniture, such as tables mud kitchens, etc, mostly to order from recycled materials. So I waste nothing if I can help it. I can turn my hand to most things so give me a call if you need a handyman for domestic fit out, be it bathroom repairs, kitchens, showers, furniture assembly requiring carpentry, flooring (vinyl parquet, wood), tiling, basic plumbing and electrics, decorations (painting, wall papering, curtain rails, etc). and then anything gardening, fencing, gates and minor brickwork. My house has been transformed with new soffits, fascias, guttering, all the cracks in the rendering fixed and a superb paint job and all at a competitive price. Pieter's work ethic is truly exceptional. He demonstrated a methodical and professional approach to what can only be described as a difficult task. Our soffits and fascias are made of wood and had been painted several times. Whilst they looked scruffy and the paint was peeling off, we did not see the point of replacing them with plastic. Pieter handled the job without issues, removing old paint and re-painting all areas with high quality durable external paint. I would thoroughly recommend him for any work around the house.
