Hello. I work as a sole trader under the name of Longshore Lime. I have been working with lime products for over 15 years having completely renovated my own home, removing concrete from inside & out replacing with breathable lime and lime wash. My home has been aesthetically restored to a warmer, less damp abode improving the well being of the property for years to come. Along with lime work I can prep, paint and decorate to a high standard and can advise on appropriate finishes. I have undertaken numerous lime projects working for some of West Wales' finest lime companies gaining knowledge and experience - preparing walls for repointing, scratch coat liming with horse hair, lime plastering and lime washing adding pigment for colour if required. I generally work a 30 miles radius from Camrose, Pembrokeshire but will consider further distances for certain projects. I offer painting and decorating skills for any type of home where an internal room or two needs freshening up or external walls, frames/sills need preparing (washing off mould / fixing cracks for example) prior to weather shielding. Excellent from start to finish (almost). I say almost because there is a job they couldn't quite complete due to a roof leak 🙈. They are coming back to do the remaining job when the roof is repaired. John's a very nice decent man who won't add work to make money and can do almost anything (except roofing 😂). The people he brings to work with him are also knowledgeable and lovely. A few ugly extras reared their head during the process (extra damp) and it was dealt with by them without stressing me out. I have recommended them to my sister and I will have then back when I move later in the year. Thanks for making my parents house ready to sell.

Absolute disgrace of a tradesman!! After I phoned & confirmed job was told no problem I will see you Tuesday, Tuesday came and he turned up 1hr late (good start) got ladder, pva glue, dust sheet out of van started brushing on pva and then once my partner was busy in kitchen he packed up (quiet as a mouse) and left without saying a word. Tried phoning for a reason why and telephone calls being ignored. So NO I don't recommend him.
